Did Julian really have a stroke or did the CIA get to him before he could be extradited?

Julian Assange suffered a stroke during his High Court appeal, his fiancee has revealed on social media.

Assange’s partner and the mother of his two children, Stella Moris, posted on social media that the WikiLeaks founder had suffered a stroke in October and he needed to be freed from prison. She did not provide an update on his condition following the stroke.

Around the time of the stroke, Assange was reported to have attended his hearing intermittently over more than five hours. He appeared dishevelled, wearing an untucked shirt, baggy trousers, a dark tie and had a face mask covering only his mouth. His white hair reached his shoulders.

On Friday, the United States government moved a step closer to extraditing Assange to face trial over his leaking of the WikiLeaks cables after securing a victory in England’s High Court.

Lord Justice Tim Holroyde overturned a previous judge’s ruling that Assange should not face legal proceedings in the US because he might take his own life.

Assange told the truth that the government did not want us to know.

Free Assange.

Snowden is a traitor, and Assamge is a Russian asset. Trump is both a traitor and a Russian asset.

They should all share a tiny cell at Gitmo.

Your government was violating your constitutional rights and Snowden told you. You're just a government bootlicker.

Exposing war crimes and crimes against the Constitution does not make the whistle blower a traitor. That makes them a patriot and a hero.

Daniel Ellsberg: “Whatever Julian Assange is guilty of, I’m guilty of.”

For decades, Daniel Ellsberg was the world’s most famous whistleblower. The former military analyst leaked the so-called Pentagon Papers in 1971, a trove of classified documents that outlined the full extent of the US involve[/B][/B]ment in the Vietnam War. Their publication in the The New York Times, The Washington Post and other major news outlets helped bring that conflict to an end, but Ellsberg was vilified as a traitor to the US. Five decades later, the man who blew the whistle on lies about the Vietnam War is held up as a patriot in his country and a legend internationally.

Daniel Ellsberg credits Edward Snowden with catalysing US surveillance reform

NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden should be thanked for sparking the debate that forced Congress to change US surveillance law, Daniel Ellsberg, the man who leaked the Pentagon Papers, said Monday.

There's a right way and a wrong way to be a whistleblower.

Neither Assange nor Snowden did it the right way. Had they done so, they'd be the heroes the Left says they are. Further, even if there wasn't a right way to do what they did, doing it comes with risks that the 2 of them (and anyone else) should understand and accept BEFORE they reveal what they know.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time. Had either of them accepted that fact, they'd both likely be free by now.

Great, I have to back HisArpy for a bit. Both of them belong in prison, when you break the law there are consequences and its really that simple. Its not like we didn't put people who refused the draft in jail and I think that the draft is Unconstitutional on its face. I'm not sure what the difference is in forcing people to fight a war (especially one over seas) is any different from slavery. . aside from the mortality rate is probably higher than picking cotton.

Has any competent medical person said Assange had a stroke or is it just his girlfriend's unverified assertion?

Snowden is free, to the extent that is possible for a fugitive living in Russia.

You don't want him executed or harmed either.

That is our policy for all people extradited from the UK. If they are possibly facing a death sentence, they ain't leaving. But Assange had cost us millions while he was holed up in an embassy.

From what I understand, he's currently taking meds for a stroke. Assuming that's true, someone had to write a prescription for it. Which means a doc says he had a stroke.

Assange is an Australian. However, the Australian government has done absolutely nothing to check even his most basic rights as a citizen. They clearly do not want him back and will kiss the USA's ass whenever required to do so.

But ultimately I cannot see what the US will get out of putting him on trial either. Much of any trial will be held in camera which will automatically allow a significant part of the media to portray it as a suspect proceedings driven by politics.

And Assange himself should not be underestimated - smart as a sewer rat. And the best 'civil rights' lawyers will queue up to represent him, and enhance their 'reputations'

Pure bullshit. There's the truth and then there's everything else. There's no right or wrong way to tell the truth about war crimes. War criminals going scot free while whistle blowers get imprisoned and tortured is not what should happen in a free nation.

Targeting and murdering innocent civilians, men women, and children is a war crime. It should always be exposed and always punished. I believe in a free press. I don't believe in secret government. That's not Democracy.

Your tax dollars at work murdering innocent civilians.

Lol.

NO ONE has the power to take the law into their own hands. No one. If you come across something you believe is a crime, your OBLIGATION is to take what you discovered to the appropriate authorities and let them deal with it. There are Federal Depts which handle this sort of thing and which were specifically set up to handle this stuff.

What you don't do is scatter it all over the internet because that's a crime.

So; right way vs wrong way. Only 1 of the two keeps you out of prison. Guess which option both Assange and Snowden chose. And then figure out why both are hiding from the law.

More pure naive bullshit. This is "Epstein killed himself in jail' level gullibility. Just how fucking stupid do you have to be to not to understand that being a whistle blower means that the system is already corrupt and and reporting through official channels is ineffective, pointless, and puts your own safety in danger?

The law is the law. Just because you don't like it doesn't give you the right to do whatever the fuck you want to do.

Believing life is a movie with a scripted outcome where the good guy always wins is what gets you to this level of insipidity.

So then you should sit back and let the government violate your constitutional rights. After all, there's nothing you can do about it right?
