Sending messages

Hello everyone so I tried to send a pvt message to am author on the story site because I liked their work and it said message cant be sent. Has that happened to anyone else? How can I fix this?

well its a good thing that NASA has 'accidentally' discovered how to make a "warp drive engine" so it won't take forever for them to get back.

A simple "I've maxed out the magnification and I still can't see it. Can you send it again?" would have been kind.

There is nothing to 'fix'. They don't want to be bothered with spam and have messaging turned off.
