about these types of love
when you’re in them

become more than
physical connection

becoming everything
all at once connected
knots which intertwine
and wrap
and encircle
parts of you both
which never had moments
to protest before submitting
to the answers
held so tightly

like we knew
and like we know it is
it could never actually be
in the same way
as before
and so it is easier to think
that maybe
instead of it being an end
to something
it is in fact
the beginning of another
where both are fascinated
