It is really scary how much you sound like Reinhard Heydrich here. Yeah sure, shooting an innocent black teenager is "Elimination of Scum."
You are truly disgusting. Go put on your white sheet and stick a burning cross up your ass.
Protip: Whoever quibbles over the definition of "assault rifle" is the asshole.
The kid left his front porch to go to a protest with an assault rifle. That's enough for me to think he needs a prison term.
He's not the only one I'd be investigating and probably prosecuting in that encounter too. And on that basis, I think I'm being objective in ways you never will be.
So, go pound sand.
Facts are facts dumbass, an AR-15 is not an assault weapon. An assault weapon is a weapon designed to provide continuous rapid rate of fire with a single pull of the trigger. It provides continuous fire while moving forward to engage with your enemy pinning them down suppressing their ability to return fire. AR 15s are nothing more than a traditional semi automatic rifle with an ability to house a large capacity magazine. Limit magazine capacity and what your left with is a rifle like any other. A 30-06 semi is much more lethal than a AR-15. Because an AR-15 looks like an M-16 doesn’t make it on.

An assault weapon is a scary-looking gun.
To the Left, all guns are scary looking...

If anyone watched the Prosecution cross of Rittenhouse yesterday, and still thinks he's going to jail - you're an idiot.
Of course, a prosecutor is a government attorney. That means he was probably a C student at a lower-tier law school.
He is charged with that. It's probably the one charge that will probably stick. Of course that doesn't carry a long prison sentence. That's they want to murder charge. They keep rationalizing all this other stuff like "he shouldn't have been there", "he's underage" to rationalize the conclusion they want. No matter how much they rant about it, the question for the jury is did Kyle Rittenhouse have a reasonable fear that his life was in danger. If the answer is yes, then he is justified. Whether he was violating a curfew is another matter. The one survivor already admitted he pointed a gun at him. The two other guys aren't here to counter the argument. Having said that we do have FBI video and testimony that the first decedent chased Rittenhouse and according the ME, he grabbed the barrel of Rittenhouse's gun. Not sure if it's fingerprints on the barrel or residue though.Yes, he’s clueless about the law. The kid could be guilty of being under age to carry the firearm, but that certainly not something he’ll go to prison for. Is the kid even being charged with that?
He keeps using the term "assault rifle." That's code for I have no idea what I am talking about. I am just spewing bullet points from the anti-gun narrativeHe also is clueless about firearms. The AR15 is not an assault rifle. It does not feature select fire like the M4 or M16 used by military and police professionals. It’s a sporting rifle, and happens to be the most popular rifle in America.
I used to teach in the ghetto. The kids generally are very untrusting of others, but once they get to know you a little, they let their guard down and get a little too friendly sometimes. One thing they taught me was crime isn't as random as you think. If you were a victim, something told that perpetrator that they could probably get away with it. A criminal's worst fear is that you have a gun and will fight back. That's why concealed carry or even open carry are important rights to self defense. The guy that fights back and kills his attacker either is new and doesn't know what he's doing, or thought he was a bad ass and now his ass is dead. It’s clear that some on this thread want to put 2A and self defense on trial, and Rittenhouse is their vessel. That seems to be the prosecution’s strategy as well. It appears the judge is having none of that. He’s sticking to the law. The kid will walk and might even cash in a book deal and some speaking gigs.

They also keep screaming that he crossed state lines with a gun. Notice he's not charged with that. Crossing state lines with a gun in of itself does not give the feds jurisdiction or is even against the law. You have to commit some federal crime first and then cross state lines with a gun to give the feds jurisdiction. Since the state of Wisconsin isn't charging him with bringing a firearm into Wisconsin, either Wisconsin has no such law or has some sort of reciprocity agreement with Illinois.

If 2A haters and anti-gun nuts knew how many people carried concealed weapons they'd soil themselves.

Obviously he was on his way to an armed insurrection
which forced him into engaging into self-defense
when everyone with half a brain knows that
when the Left protests, violence
will ensue...
It's best to just let them peacefully protest
and clean up from the destruction, burning and looting afterwards.
It's why they invented insurance. Right?

Er, I mean, Left???

You don't "on your way" to anywhere, especially across state lines, to engage in self-defense. Nor are you engaging in self-defense to be taking an illegally obtained rapid-fire ASSAULT RIFLE with you.
