Good news on getting much needed money in the hands of all states to start rebuilding our infrastructure. This is so needed! Thank you Dems and 13 Republicans for voting it forward.

45 had a chance to pass a bill like this....he choked. Had he done it I have little doubt he would have been reelected.

If the Dems keep this going, they will have something very hard to beat by 2022... An actual delivery of much needed resources to states in dire need of repairs and new jobs. Hopefully, more Republicans will get in board...they better.

Jobs????

There are 5 million unfilled jobs already!

I support this bill, not the other one. Building physical stuff is an investment in the future. Paying people to have more kids they can't afford isn't.

Trump wasn't going to be reelected.

WTF is wrong with you?

This bill will not be in the forefront of people's minds during the midterms.

That's nothing more than wishful thinking.

b-b-but...if you pay people, then they can afford to have more kids! Like them Duggar motherfuckers in that TV show on TLC!

don'tcha see, Johnny? This is how The Great Hamster Wheel of society spins. Those kids are future burner accounts!

then we can continue having a permanent underclass so the wealthy can continue enjoying their 8th yacht purchase in the Seychelles with an underpaid staff to serve them! Those unlimited mai tais at the open bar ain't mixin' themselves, you know! ;)

There is always going to be an underclass. This cannot be avoided in any economic structure.

The difference in the United States is that there is economic mobility
with some people rising out of it and others falling into it
based mainly upon the effort applied...

Bottom line - Trump had multiple infrastructure weeks but couldn't get anything done because of his administration's complete incompetence.

Biden got it done. Period.

Thankyou, Mr. President

watched the live vote last night and was so happy. despite it getting pared back, still the largest investment in the transportation infrastructure for this country–in history!

Politics. Dems. weren't going to give Trump that win and many Republicans didn't want Trump to get that win either. Trump showed that there is a political ruling class in this country and they don't take kindly to outsiders.
