Help! "story cannot be published"

Please could someone help me? I have had a story stuck in "pending" for, literally, months. I have left it untouched for periods of several weeks at a time, just to make sure I'm not accidentally sending it back to "go". Sometimes the page has said "awaiting moderator's approval", sometimes "submission is removed". Now it says, "Story cannot be published. If you think this is a mistake, please send the story name and URL to support." No reason has been given.

The story is And There Came Two Angels to Sodom.

I have send private messages to both Laurel and Manu about this, but have received no reply.

If I am doing something wrong, please let me know, and I will gladly amend.

Has your story been rejected? Try sending Laurel another PM. I'll take a look at your story if you want to send it in a PM to see if there's something that might get it rejected.

I have never received any communication from the site about my story - certainly not to say it has been rejected. It just sits in "pending" for ages, with the message that it has been submitted to a moderator for approval, then (sometimes) later "not found" or "submission is removed" or "cannot be published. No reason given. Then I try again...

I would be delighted to know it has been rejected for some reason, because then I could amend it accordingly! So I will take you up on your kind offer and send it to you in a PM. Thank you!

I have sent Laurel half a dozen PMs on this subject already, and have not had any reply, so I am loath to bother her more for now, especially if you are able to help.

_Lynn_ is also, I think, on the case. Perhaps you could liaise with her and see what luck she has had...?

I read your story, and it's unusual and very well written. I sent you a private message for the one rule that it violates. I'd suggest retracting your submission, rewriting it per my suggestion, and re-submitting. Good Luck. I'm sure it would find an appreciative audience here on Lit. RT

Per the above, I'd also suggest a different title on the re-submission.
