Reading the article you linked...it doesn't say that at all. I kept reading looking for that a-ha moment of yes, vaccines make you more likely to die than unvaccinated people, but i didn't see it. What I saw was that vaccines and precautions helped save lives. Now that precautions have been relaxed or lifted and that vaccine effectiveness is going down, and that Delta has come for a visit, cases are rising again. I did not see that the vaccinated are more likely to die.
At the end of the day, vaccinated or unvaccinated people need to be aware they need to be careful, especially around crowds. Keep your distance. Wash your hands often, especially before eating. Use common sense. Fyi, being careful will also help protect you from the common cold, the stomach flu and all other easily transmitted illnesses. And then, if you end up catching Covid, know that the vaccine is more than likely diminishing the severity of your symptoms.
PS If you're 93 with lung cancer, emphysema or any other disease that renders you very weak, the vaccine may not save you from Covid. But other people being careful not to give it to you might give you a bit more time on this earth.

Boosters are not a freaking drama, and also not unusual. My cat needs a booster shot every year for his cat flu immunisation - I don't see a massive outcry about that. The Covid vaccine has clearly saved a hefty chunk of lives. I'm fine with needing a top up if that means lives keep being saved.
