Poll: Voters Have ‘Biden Remorse,’ Republicans Lead in 85 Battleground Congressional Districts

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) released a Democrat-damning poll report on Tuesday, showing the GOP leading on the generic ballot in 85 battleground congressional districts, 43 percent to 40 percent.

“It is not just that the Biden honeymoon is over. Voters are now having “Biden Remorse” due to Democrats’ incompetence,” according to the report, which was conducted October 16-21, 2021, among 1,000 voters.

President Joe Biden’s overall approval has flipped from 51 percent approve –45 percent disapprove in July to 45 percent approve – 51 percent disapprove in October. According to the report, the shift in approval is “almost entirely coming from independent voters,” a segment which played a pivotal role in getting him elected. Thirty-nine percent of independents approve and 54 percent disapprove of Biden’s performance, the report states.

Many of the groups that powered Biden to the presidency have now soured on him, as he is underwater with Hispanics (-5 percent) and college-educated white voters (-3 percent). A majority of voters (53 percent) do not believe Joe Biden is competently running the country. Among independents, 62 percent do not believe Biden is competent.

Republicans now lead across 85 battleground congressional districts “as a result of Democrats’ incompetence,” according to the report, which found that the GOP is leading with independents by eight percent (35 percent GOP – 27 percent Democrat). Republicans have also swayed college-educated white voters who supported Biden in 2o2o by 3 percent (44 percent GOP – 41 percent Democrat). Furthermore, Republicans continue to gain ground with Hispanic voters — the generic ballot in battleground districts shows Republicans and Democrats tied 42 percent to 42 percent in this demographic.

“Republicans have a decisive advantage on the issues most important to voters,” according to the poll.

No poll conducted at this time in an administration is going to be favourable to the government (in any country) so taking a poll now is a waste of effort and has no statistical relevance to what will happen at the next election.

We gave that up upon entering elementary school actually. Gave it up again if you joined the military and I don't really see why any particular profession should be treated as "freer" than the people literally putting their lives on the line for our "freedom".

I put that in quotes because last I checked freedom isn't an exportable resource. I rent my place. I feel comfortable saying that even if the hypothetical Chinese/Russian alliance invade America its not for my car, 65 inch tv, PS4 of Xbox360 collection. Its not for my right to be Christian, Jewish or atheist if I so choose. They don't give a shit about the stories I write. They are here for Bush's oil, they are here for the water of the great lakes. They are here for the open land developed land to house their people. That massive military is not here for my benefit and assuming we mean a military strike (so 9/11 doesn't count) I guess you could pretend we were attacked at Pearl Harbor since it WAS a military base. But as Obama haters were more than happy to point out Hawaii wasn't a state until later.

If we simply redirected a fraction of the money going to a military that not only isn't defending anything is often used offensively in ways that if they aren't true war crimes they are borderline on infrastructure, education and health care we'd be a lot better off. And the thing is employers don't have any interest in paying for benefits, passing the costs on from their businesses to the government is a net win for them. Those the ports, roads and rail transport THEIR goods, not mine. They transport their employees and customers. Its not that I don't benefit from these things mind you, just that between me and Mr. Gates I can tell you the guy who is dropping off trucks of Xboxes and the guy who buys one every five years who is benefiting more.

And wearing a mask really no more invasive than "No shoes, no shirt, no service" that is, if unwritten enforced nearly everywhere. This is just bitches bitching because their lives are, in most ways, so fucking good that complaining about a mask and a vaccine is the worst thing to happen to them en masse in decades.

Where is the bitching about the fact that 9/11, a one time we were completely unprepared and simply adding air marshals to every flight would have prevented but twenty years later I have to get groped, nobody is quite sure how much of the Patriot Act remains intact. 3k in a way that will almost definitely never happen again we can give up a lot of freedom. Close in on a million and we hem and haw. Its not about freedom, just like with everything the Right does its about sticking it it to the libs.

The Biden administration's performance in the federal end of handling disasters and the pandemic has been 3,000 percent better than the Trump's poor excuse for an administration was (and Trump's plan for Afghanistan was to leave far earlier and on only one day, guaranteeing fewer people and less equipment being evacuated). The shortfall in the Biden administration's ability to delivered promised legislation lies at the feet of (A) those voters who didn't give him a workable majority, and (B) the stonewalling Republicans (and Democrats) who won't even negotiate compromises. This issue does not lay at the feet of the Biden administration.

Those voting or responding to polls who don't/can't understand that are dumber than sheep and deserve not to get what the Biden administration is trying to provide for them--and that the Trump people never even tried.
