Why should I, we've seen the alternative is worse and they weren't directly doing anything to me to begin with. When did the Taliban do anything outside of Afghanistan? They may have sheltered Al-Qaeda, back in the day, but that would have been the extent of it.

In case you missed the point of the video, the fundraiser was collecting money from students so the Taliban could expand operations to the US mainland, killing Americans. And Cal-Berk kiddies were happy to help.
