The furious members accused the Arizona Democrat of “answering to big donors rather than your own people,” in the latest sign of the political pressure she faces.

WASHINGTON — Five veterans tapped to advise Senator Kyrsten Sinema, an Arizona Democrat, resigned from their posts on Thursday, publicly accusing her of “hanging your constituents out to dry” in the latest sign of growing hostility toward a centrist who has emerged as a key holdout on President Biden’s agenda.

In a scathing letter obtained by The New York Times, the veterans took Ms. Sinema to task for her refusal to abolish the filibuster and her opposition to parts of Mr. Biden’s multitrillion-dollar social safety net, education, climate and tax plan, stances that have stymied some of his top priorities.

“You have become one of the principal obstacles to progress, answering to big donors rather than your own people,” the veterans wrote in a letter that is to be featured in a new advertisement by Common Defense, a progressive veterans’ activist group that has targeted Ms. Sinema.

“We shouldn’t have to buy representation from you, and your failure to stand by your people and see their urgent needs is alarming,” they added.

She promised to govern from the middle, and she's been good to her word. Her AZ polling reflects it.

When did she say or do that?

Kyrsten Sinema's poll numbers should terrify her

During her campaign.

But Arizona is far from a blue state, and some argue that Sinema's opposition to parts of the Biden agenda are in line with what she campaigned on being: an independent, moderate voice to represent the often-quirky political leanings of Arizonans.

Nice to see that this woman is governing from the center as she promised, and that she refuses to be bullied by crazies that follow her into bathrooms and throw tantrums.

Show us a specific example of her governing from the middle. That doesn't mean opposing her own party, I mean actually governing from the middle.

Interesting. I can't find anything about her saying that she would govern from the middle. According to her poll numbers in her own state, they don't believe her.

I appended a quote from an ABC story on her to my post.

She never said anything about "governing from the middle." You extrapolated that to suit your narrative.

“Kyrsten has always promised Arizonans she would be an independent voice for the state — not for either political party,” Sinema spokesman John LaBombard told the Times in a statement. “She’s delivered on that promise and has always been honest about where she stands.”

Sinema, 45, didn’t take a linear path into politics. She graduated from Brigham Young University in just two years, and earned her M.S., J.D., and Ph.D. degrees from Arizona State University. A former Green Party spokeswoman and anti-war activist, she’s since become a centrist and member of the Senate’s so-called “G-20” bipartisan group.

Centrist, moderate, as I said.

No you said that she said that she would govern from the middle during her campaign. None of what you posted makes you anything but a liar because she never said that.

I've noticed that you have a history of talking yourself into these pickels. ;)

So you're trying to pump some life into your deceased argument by contending that "middle" is somehow different from "independent" and "centrist?"

You will note that I didn't put "govern from the middle" in quotes. I have no idea if she ever used those words or not. She did, however, say she'd be an independent in DC, so she's fulfilling her promise.

The only thing he tried to do was prove you a liar.

AZ is not a blue state, but it is purple, and I think you'll find among the Dem voter base, even centrists want the Build Back Better package as is.

I wasn't really trying he did it to himself.

Let's see if you're a desperate as Luke:

Are you saying "centrist" is different from "governing from the middle?" Just to see how far you mental defectives are willing to go here...

Desperate? Your entire pst history in this thread after he pointed out that you lied to fit your bullshit narrative is desperation, Dud.

Where's the quote of her saying it, Dud? WHAR?! Can you find anything of her saying anything close to what you're claiming?

I posted two articles that confirmed my statement that Sinema campaigned as a centrist. I can provide more.

Can you show where she campaigned as a leftist lunatic?

Everyone sees that you're lying, Dud. You said that she campaigned that she would govern from the middle. You said that, not her. You lied.

First, she said she would govern from the middle, now you're saying that people said she campaigned as a centrist, which she also didn't say.

Take the fuckin' "L" Dud.
