WNBA Championship “Parade” Features Almost No Fans…

That must feel awful.

And, since you have over 30 threads in the last ten days with less than 5 posts, you can relate. 🤣 🤣

The only comfort I take in the ridiculousness of people trying to take the WNBA seriously is that they are completely subsidized by the NBA. So, all those social justice NBA dudes are losing stripper money to pay for a bunch of women who would never have anything to do with them otherwise (due to preferences).
Basketball socialism in action!

The NBA doesn't seem to have an issue with the money it spends there. I'm not sure how much comfort that gives you.

I think their almost $9 billion in revenue indicates how much they care about threads like this and supporting commentary.

I stopped taking the NBA itself seriously long ago but lost all respect when they started kissing CCP ass and carrying their water. I expect the WNBA to follow in their footsteps.

Of course. They do not want to get canceled. Some NBA players have invested in women's teams (at the behest of their financial advisors who need a tax loss).
But if I asked an NBA player if he would rather have the $50k each of them is spending on average to keep the other league alive, I am not sure they would all be so gung ho

So what about the 8 billion bothers you?
