What Are You Nosey About Today?? 🦝

Oh coffee YES, I can't do much before coffee, but I'm always up, as I make it myself.
I don't really start to function before coffee no 2.

Well, me too. But it takes a minute to make an espresso. I go back to bed and drink it there. But in any case, I can't just jump out of bed as soon as I open my eyes. I like to stay in bed half awake, for about 15-20 minutes or so.

I'm Nosey about what mood people are in when they wake up and get out of bed..

Do you wake up angry, and start slamming doors and cursing when your only been up for 2 minutes?

Or do you wake up get out of bed, and ease into the day with cool calm and relaxed attitude or mood.?

I'm usually at my best mood first thing in the morning. As soon as my eyes open, I'm up and out of bed and ready to do things. That first hour or two in the early morning is the most productive time of my day.

My wife finds my morning moods incredibly irritating. :D

I'm typically very refreshed and in a good mood. I can take it easy or be ready to head out the door in ten minutes to start the day, it doesn't much matter.

I'm also usually pretty frisky, so it's helpful if the person laying next to me doesn't hate being touched, talked to or whatever other things we might to to start our day off with a bang (ha...a bang).

I like to cuddle and pet when I wake up - well, I like to cuddle and pet just about anytime. I prefer to start the day slowly, but I can also hit the ground running - ready for work or fun in an instant and be in an "annoyingly" good mood. :)

I'm almost always in a good mood when I wake up. I definitely fall in the second category. I like to wake up naturally, run and pee, then slide back into bed for a while to linger into the morning.

The first two hours or so of my day is always "me time". I linger in bed and cuddle, read, or listen to music. Then I get out of bed, usually shower (unless I did before I went to bed), get dressed, get that first cup of coffee (go Kuerig) and make some breakfast. I eat leisurely, spend some time reading, then go out to run or walk. When I am ready, I review my schedule for the day and get started. My career allows me the luxury to not have to start at any given time, just a vague concept of "core hours" and the rest of it is flexible.

I can hit the ground running if I need to, I just prefer not too. I practice good sleep hygiene so I get the most out of my sleep (no screens, nothing too thought provoking before I go to sleep, go to bed early enough to get a good nights sleep).

The second option now.

I had a job for a long time that had me up at 4:30. I was not a sweet person in the early mornings.
I had to get to work and drink a lot of coffee. But I was the first face a lot of people saw in the morning. So I had to be at least a little cheery lol

I agree with Rainshine, anyone that starts their day with door slamming and cursing wouldn’t last long in my house!

I’m generally in a good mood in the morning, I’m more of a slow riser on the weekends but through the week I tend to not snooze the alarm and just get up and get going. I commute a fair distance for work and I like to be there early, so I don’t eat or drink tea/coffee etc till I get to work.

Night owl. I do all my best work at night and I've got a bit of insomnia anyways, so why fight it. Thus, mornings aren't my favorite time. But I'm more just a bit slow moving and groggy, not so much angry or irritated. And, after a short time and a cup of coffee, I usually roll into the day pretty easily.

Im nosey about how you feel when you see someone else falling for the same bs that you or someone you know fell for? I'm not really talking about warning people but do you find it weird, notice how far you've come, or just wait for the cycle to begin again??

(I know this is vague AF)

I wouldn’t find it weird. People rarely change - even when they think they have. And I don’t know if it’s a matter of how far I’ve come but it certainly gives me a sense of gratitude for lessons learned.

Unless the BS is truly harmful, I keep my nose in my own business and trust that the “someone else” has a good head on their shoulders.

I tend to sit back and watch it unfold because I have learned that people need to learn from their own mistakes. I’m over here like….

I used to think I was good at sniffing out bs and then I joined Lit. Up until recently, I had only fallen for one person’s bs and others had warned me but I didn’t take any notice. That made me feel incredibly foolish and has made me doubt others now. I am now thinking that I have fallen for somebody else’s bs (in a totally different context to the first person) and that hasn’t made me feel foolish but has angered me slightly.

I do watch things from afar and just shake my head when I see things happening with certain people. There does seem to be a clear pattern to some people’s behaviour and you can see how things will turn out before they actually happen.

Watch, wait, eye roll, move on.

Considering how often I seem to get suckered in by the bs, I'm honestly just grateful that it isn't me this time. Is that selfish? Yes? Well, we can't all be perfect. But then, last time I thought I saw somebody being suckered it turned out really well for all concerned. So maybe I just have a really terrible bullshit detector. My instincts for people never seem to get any better.

Hopefully the latest victim sees the error of their ways and comes out the other side stronger. But we all have to fall down to learn how to pick ourselves back up.

I'm pretty vanilla overall so I can't think of anything. But now I'm nosey what sex act Wand3r thought was commonplace but apparently isn't?

I feel being an 18yr old virgin and wanting to be taken up the arse by a man who’s old enough to be my Grandad accompanied by a googled pic of said arse and fanny is common place on Lit.
I mean I assume they’re for realz!!

😂😂

I wake up in a good mood, but I want no verbal communication for an hour or so. Any attempts at holding a conversation will be met with grunts and glares. If you love me, bring me coffee and back slowly away.

Hehehe, OMG, Oop's backs away slowly.

Ok, completely understand that, sounds fair enough.:)

I'm option #3 ... I try and stay in bed until the last possible second and then I just groggily move around for the first hour or so until I've had some coffee and some time to get going but its not calm cool or relaxed...its more like shuffling, grumbly, pouty " I wanna go back to bed"

well, at least you don't sound like your a bear with a sore head. :)

It's amazing how some SO's seem to have a problem with happy people in the morning. :)

Sounds like another happy morning starter,

Ah good to have a flexible start to the day as well. That makes things easier.

Uhh yuck. I’d go mad dwelling with anyone that started their day with door slamming and cursing.

I’m pretty slow to rise and get that first hit of motivation to get up, but always in a good mood and typically just get going straight into whatever I have to do. I almost always want morning sex. It’s my favourite time for sex. So making time for that is good.

Oh I hear what your saying, tell me about it. Doors slamming, Grumpy ass Grizzly bear attitude.
Nothing wrong with being slow to rise, so long as you have plenty of time to do what needs to be done, and enjoy you favourite things to do. ;)

I can understand, a 4:30 start to the day is a bit rough. Coffee always make things better, ;) I usually am firing pretty well after the 2nd mug. Yes it's tricky too when your at the forefront of things, you do need to be a little cheery, :).

That's fair enough to be a bit slow, not everyone bounces out of bed like they are on a trampoline. Oh I couldn't go that long without Coffee and a slice of toast or something, to get me going.

I do some of my best work at night too. bit of a night owl.
That sounds like it's pretty good though, seems a bit of a trend is to be a bit slow, and ease/roll into the day.

Thanks everyone, appreciate all the different points and views.
Guess I'm just fucking lucky to have a Grumpy ass bear to avoid...ah..:. I mean look forward to in the morning.
