A Twitter user had a brilliant idea to get everyone in America vaccinated, and I quote:

Andy Swan @AndySwan

Hey @JoeBiden I'll tell you what.

Why don't you mail a vaccine to everyone, we'll sign something saying it was us that took it, and our party operatives can return the paperwork in bulk to you at 3am.

NO ID NO PROBLEM

NO EVIDENCE OF WIDESPREAD VACCINE FRAUD

Surely this would solve all our vaccine issues, no?

Trump's appointee DeJoy fucked with the mail service.

Or don't you remember?

.
I unblocked Pud just to see why Rory started a thread dedicated to Pud's stupidity, and this thread is just another example.

Time to *bump* Rory's thread.

:D

I'm just here, waiting patiently for someone to tell me why this wouldn't work perfectly. Seems like a great idea, no?

Get everybody a mailbox that can maintain -80 degrees, and you might have a chance.

Well lets see....how many people like to self-inject?

Pfizer and Moderna, and Astra Zenica ( not sure about J&J though) have extensive handling, shipping and storage requirements, that will not work via mail.

Not everyone has a mailing address.

Maybe it would be smarter to just have centralised vaccination locations, trained people to do the injection, and record who received the vaccine?

Lets see here who thinks my idea is better than yours?

Put the injections into handy Epipens, simple. For those without mailing addresses, okay, they can go to Walgreens or CVS.

But there's no issue with the system I've laid out other than a few minor logisitical ones, right?

It's obviously non-viable for vaccinations, but for voting it's been proven to be extremely viable AND reliable.

Just another epic Pud fail.

People administer their own injections every day. With an Epi, it'd be a breeze. Then they just fill out the card and sign it, and we're good, right, just like mail-in ballots?

The main point you were making seems to have sailed over some folks heads. :D

It was such an epic fail of an analogy, that it isn't that surprising a few people ignored it.

And it wasn't Pud's point; it was just something he parroted that appealed to his Deplorable sense of logic.

SAD!!!

Amazing! Requiring proof of vaccination to do damn near anything, which has NO force of law behind it, is perfectly acceptable. But requiring proof that you are eligible to vote, which does have force of law behind it, is unacceptable.

Which counties in the US don’t require proof of eligibility to vote? List, please.

If you're trying to prove you're dumber than Pud, then you're succeeding spectacularly.

JFC

SAD!!!

Funny, and not in an amusing way, how the entire house of 'scientific' cards is crumbling under the weight of facts.

Wuhan flu
is here to stay
it's not ever
going away
until you're dead.

Some entrepreneur will offer black-market Covid19 vaccines in Epipens, and Bud Spencer will be among the first to shell out for one.
