A Black female firefighter is suing Boynton Beach, Florida for depicting her with white skin on a mural.
Former Boynton Beach deputy fire chief Latosha Clemons was the city’s first Black woman firefighter.

The mural was unveiled in June last year. The face of Glenn Joseph, the former city’s former fire chief and the first Black firefighter in the Boca Raton department, was also erased on the mural.

apparently the fire chief ordered this done as they no-longer worked at the dept and had 'no idea' it would be seen as racist. *nods* what a crock.

It was one of my best costumes, along with the Saudi sheikh I was another year, complete with flowing robes, regulation Islamic beard, gas can and AK-47.
