i get he was trying to stop the fight, or assault = commendable.
to draw a gun on unarmed persons and then shoot into a car of 3 retreating from behind? guy's watched too many stupid movies and needs to face the consequences of his actions. if the girl had survived, if she had been apprehended by the police for an alleged assault charge, then she, too, would have had to face the consequences of her actions. As it stands, she is dead and he's (at best) an accidental murderer... not the outcome either would probably have imagined at the start of their day.
