What 1 thing in your life has changed the most because of COVID-19?

Ditto. Haven’t be able to go and see my friends and family. This has been the longest I have ever been away from the States.

Exactly right. I have not seen my Filipina girlfriend since January, 2020. We have spent hundreds of hours on cam with each other since then but I want the real thing.

My perspective - especially about what is really necessary.

My waistline. Put on few unwanted lbs., lost them, and put back on a few lbs. of muscle.

Going out on the town on weekend nights. That was a big change for a guy who lives in a remote area and loves the night life of the nearby city.

As far as travel goes, I learned that car camping with my little trailer has been very safe during the pandemic. It's a great way to get around and have some social interaction with people who generally respect the outdoors and the need for public health measures. During the past two years, I traveled all around the western USA and got to visit friends and relatives. I had my own cooking, cleaning, and sleeping facilities with me the whole time.

My outgoing, super-social, athletic (two sports), smart son became depressed, suicidal, self-isolating, and is in danger of failing out of high school.

The realization that most people are really stupid or just plain gullible. Mostly stupid.

Other than a fedora being called a cowboy hat once it was paired with a bandana, nothing has changed.

Inflation is only the indirect result.

My attitude to death

yes, also cakes and gardening and stupid people, but death mostly.

I got far more impatient. Which some would have said was impossible as I didn't have much to begin with.
