Disagree with your School Board, you’re no a “domestic terrorist!”

Haven't you learned by now never to post anything from Breitbart?

Tuesday on FNC’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” host Tucker Carlson reacted to Attorney General Merrick Garland’s announcement the Department of Justice would intervene where it saw fit to addressed perceived threats against educators and school boards.

Properly considered, that is not at all scary. The threats are what's scary.

But what does "Disagree with your School Board, you're no a "domestic terrorist" mean????

Like I am starting to get the idea BDW is not really an American. No one educated in the US should be that poorly schooled grammatically, especially with simple spell checker for fuck sake....

I think he meant to type "Disagree with your School Board and your not a "domestic terrorist", or possibly.."Disagree with your School Board and you're a domestic terrorist.

It is really hard to debate points, with an idiot, who's posts you need to guess on what point he was trying to make.....

My guess is he meant, "Disagree with your School Board and you're now a "domestic terrorist"."

I think he has strokes because the forum triggers him. It may not be his fault that he can't type.

Can you READ, Peckersneverstiff??? “Perceived threats” are sooooo scary! Source any “threats” you’re aware of other than recall elections or campaigns against Board Members? Do you know what “protected free speech,” means you ignorant asshole?

I don't expect the DOJ to be looking into recall elections, etc. Not even under Trump would it have done that.

Wonder if there is some way they could determine whether the threats are credible or not.

Hmmm...a guy who almost always refers to anyone who disagrees with him with invective you couldn't print in papers has a problem with the AG acknowledging that domestic terrorism is a real problem. No doubt the irony is lost on you, Bidude.

Define “domestic terrorism?” Would burning down a substantial part of South Minneapolis count, in your view, as “domestic terrorism?” How about “chad or chaz” in Portland? Does that count? What about the violence in DC perpetrated by BLM and Antifa? Would you consider THAT “domestic terrorism?” Tearing down historical statues because you don’t agree with what you THINK they stand for? Would that, in your view, be considered “domestic terrorism?” What about attempting to burn down a Federal Court House? Would THAT qualify? What about firing off firework mortars at police, throwing frozen water bottles, cans of soup and bricks at police? What do you call that? A “peaceful protest?”

I have no problem with law enforcement doing their job. I DO however, have a HUGE issue with overlooking “terrorism” perpetrated by one group whom you obviously agree with, and then sanctimoniously condemning another group, in this case “parents standing up for their children’s education and threatening NOBODY,” as “domestic terrorism” or “domestic terrorists!” The blatant hypocrisy is deafening!

Oh ya, PS- You cunt!

A death threat against a teacher or school board member would count.

Cite a SINGLE example of that? I would agree with you if it’s true! A one off from an enraged parent doesn’t warrant Federal intervention! Talk about over-reach!

Still, you’ve not addressed the hypocrisy issue!

The letter issued by the Attorney General was thinly veiled indeed. And stupid beyond belief.

Let's start with a post I made previously on the subject at hand. "It's axiomatic that if an individual, or group, declares me to be their enemy, they automatically become my enemy." In one fell swoop the DOJ has declared yet another large segment of the population to be "enemies of the state." They have declared war on mothers and fathers, or virtually anyone that believes that they have the right to determine what their children and/or family is taught, who teaches them, and how they're taught.

Further, demands for resignation and/or threats of removal from office at the polls ARE NOT ACTS OF TERRORISM. They are acts of plain old American politics. If those act are express, or thinly veiled, threats of violence against those school board members, then most certainly a crime has been committed. But those crimes are local crimes to be adjudicated in and under the laws of the specific state. They are NOT federal crimes. In other words the DOJ has no GD business sticking their nose into the issue. The only time the DOJ would have jurisdiction is if those threats entailed crossing state lines.

This administration has once more made enemies of a huge swath of the population needlessly and with no force of law to back the threats up. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Reserve judgment on that until you read the text from some source other than Breitbart/Carlson. They can't even be trusted to quote it right.

They posted the radical Garlands “memo!” Fuck that marxist POS!

Nothing objectionable.

Citing an increase in harassment, intimidation and threats of violence against school board members, teachers and workers in our nation’s public schools, today Attorney General Merrick B. Garland directed the FBI and U.S. Attorneys’ Offices to meet in the next 30 days with federal, state, Tribal, territorial and local law enforcement leaders to discuss strategies for addressing this disturbing trend. These sessions will open dedicated lines of communication for threat reporting, assessment and response by law enforcement.

“Threats against public servants are not only illegal, they run counter to our nation’s core values,” wrote Attorney General Garland. “Those who dedicate their time and energy to ensuring that our children receive a proper education in a safe environment deserve to be able to do their work without fear for their safety.”

According to the Attorney General’s memorandum, the Justice Department will launch a series of additional efforts in the coming days designed to address the rise in criminal conduct directed toward school personnel. Those efforts are expected to include the creation of a task force, consisting of representatives from the department’s Criminal Division, National Security Division, Civil Rights Division, the Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys, the FBI, the Community Relations Service and the Office of Justice Programs, to determine how federal enforcement tools can be used to prosecute these crimes, and ways to assist state, Tribal, territorial and local law enforcement where threats of violence may not constitute federal crimes.

They're not talking about election challenges here. Nor are they encroaching on the turf of local LEOs.

Then they’ve no reason to interfere in local school board meetings, other than to intimidate parents!
