Halloween decorations in yards in September? Seriously?!

Halloween is awesome! :D I don't see the issue with it.

look, i don't give a shit about halloween either, but do try to get the fuck over it. there's far more important things to worry about.

2 weeks ago i was in hobby lobby and about 1/4 of the store was filled with christmas supplies. today i was in dollar tree and their 'featured' area was half halloween and half christmas. i love halloween but christmas gives me the yucks.

Don't you burst into flames when entering the Lord's hobby shop?

Halloween is one of the best times of the year, just think of all that chocolate!!!

I don't care for Halloween. Or Christmas. Thanksgiving is nice. New Year's happens too late at night for me, so I have no opinion.

The end of October is our sleet and freezing rain season, so I don't get many little bastards knocking on my door. I just don't like the way grown ups act like idiots (even more than usual, I mean).

The driveway here is spooky on the sunniest of days.
Hell, some cars can't even get up it if it rains.
No kid wants to trudge up that for
one piece of candy...

Y’all are a bunch of Scrooge’s.
I love seeing the little ones dressed up and I try to get the best candy to give out.
Enjoy life a little!

American holidays lost their practical origins and became cheap excuses to sell candy and plastic trash. But Halloween 2021 could be scary in a time of dying.

These Crazy times I don’t blame them!

I don’t blame anyone for putting up decorations early. I enjoy Halloween. At this point I wouldn’t mind seeing Christmas lights. Bring on the New Year!

Perhaps because I am not a compulsive consumer of junk in the stores, I kind of like the way all these holidays bleed into each other.

Was the baby Jesus born in a pumpkin? Were the three wise men Pilgrims with tall black hats? Did the noble Indians teach Dracula how to plant corn using dead fish as fertilizer?

I think the main point is that autumn and the solstice are a time of celebration.

Yep. Put it up on the weekend. If you don't like it flush yourself down the toilet poo-pe-head loser.
