Remember when the Biden administration said the surge of illegal crossers at the U.S.-Mexico border, which gathered steam in February, March, April, and May, would abate when hot weather arrived? "We've dealt with this before," White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said on March 26. "It is often seasonal."

Then, of course, the hot weather came — and so did even more illegal border crossers. June, July, and August saw record numbers of illegal crossers drawn by administration policies that make it likely that they will be allowed to stay in the United States.

And now, Del Rio. In the past week, thousands of illegal crossers, most of them Haitian, have flooded the tiny Texas town of Del Rio. Overwhelmed Border Patrol agents are trying to process them under an international bridge at the border, where the shade can give some relief from 100-plus degree temperatures. It appears that there are about 10,000 illegal crossers gathered right now, with little food, water, sanitation, or medical care. Thousands more are expected.

So the surge at Del Rio is just the latest disaster that is Biden's border policy. It's not an accident. It is not an unintended consequence. The president and his top aides formulated these policies knowing full well they would create powerful new incentives for would-be migrants to cross illegally into the U.S. And now it's happening, more and more and more.

Well, at least we know what the root of all our problems is. Never mind the pandemic, or the increasingly violent right that even has sympathizers in Congress, or the widest gap between rich and poor since the Gilded Age...it's just those scary brown people!

U.S. will reportedly fly Haitians to Haiti beginning on Sunday

The Biden administration plans to fly Haitians from the U.S. to Haiti beginning Sunday, an official said, according to the Associated Press.

The outlet reported that the details have not been made final, though the effort will probably entail five to eight flights daily, according to the individual who spoke with the AP on the condition of anonymity.

Val Verde County Judge Lewis Owens noted that the majority of the people present there Friday were Haitian, according to the AP. Trash heaps spread 10 feet wide and at least two individuals have given birth, including a person who tested positive for COVID-19 after being brought to a hospital, he said, according to the outlet.

Val Verde County Sheriff Frank Joe Martinez estimated that the mass of people numbered around 13,700 and said that additional Haitians were moving through Mexico via bus, according to the AP.

There are now 11,000 people under that bridge 80% of them are Haitian. Ted Cru talked about how there were about 750 to start when Biden announced he would turn back illegals, Cruz said they got on their cell phones and called everyone they knew and in 8 days there were 10,000. This is Joe Biden trying to take down the America with a foreign population alien and ignorant to American founding principles. A population of people large enough to, in a few years, cause the reapportionment of congressional districts to create favorable representation in Congress, regardless of citizenship, who will lobby for the socialist goals of the Democrat Party. Yes, the destruction of the present American voting majority is well under way by it's enemies in the Democrat party.

Would be Migrants on the Southern border have been a major problem for at least the last four administrations. Bush, Obama, Trump, Biden. None of them has come close to resolving it.

All of them have made it worse, largely through discouraging investment in neighbours and encouraging jobs to be 're-patriated to the USA. Local politics will ensure that jobs at home will always trump migration concerns.

The actual migration policies of the two parties are very similar; get rid of as many as possible by sending them home. Unfortunately, an intractable problem has been weaponized in the service of party/factional politics. There is no easy answer the problem will continue whoever is in office.

Blame making is pointless, but will continue so long as there are votes in it.

Stupid comments by Ted Cruz and Donald Trump are irrelevant. Illegal border crossings are set to break records in 2021, and they are not all Mexicans and Central Americans looking for work. The current wave is largely from Haiti, but not exclusively. This Del Rio shit show is not seasonal, and it’s not acceptable. The Biden Administration didn’t create the problem, but they’ve exacerbated it and they own it. Put a fresh diaper on the old man and let him fix it or move upstairs to the memory unit.
