In the ten or so years that I have interacted on Literotica, I have tried to cut ties 3 or 4 times that I remember. Then I get to missing it and return. I see two parts to my fondness for Lit:

  1. I enjoy posting images in the forum that I think are classy and high quality. I particuarly like hearing favorable comments from others about a particular post; a bit of narcisism I imagine.
  2. The Lit stories form a necessary part of my erotic indulgences; that written word has power.

I have been for about 20 years on the boards, many years prior to that in chat and just reading and listening to stories.
I have tried to walk away on my own
5 times - uptoplay, uptoplay2, just4friends, just4afriend, LaTime
Just 2 (3) times I left to spare others my presence cuz it made them vomit, no wait, that’s now..,, just4afriend, 2021Noobie, and maybe LaTime
1 time.. I was an alt shared by FrancyPants and MissIntrigue (we needed a shared alt for our Magical Mystery Tour thread)
3 times I returned without eventually announcing my prior alts. LaTime 2021Noobie
… and this time as Pad_Foot, but eventually I outed all my alts

So.. I’m addicted

Some hate alts. No, many hate alts!!

I never meant anyone else harm

I hope it’s for different joyous reasons

not worth losing friends to try to please or cause less hurt to others, though this time, it worked out

Im certainly a litoholic, im cambs girl, my first attention is the daily stories .then i browse the threads, not daily ,i like to comment on things that get my attention or something i have to say or things i find attractive or arousing..it can be a varied selection and it very depends on my mood too

It is like... It is so easy for a girl to get compliments, and flatter, and sexy offers.
And, as I girl.. I could even be mean, bitchy, bickering or even just doing the clique thing.
- And, I would still be treated with silk gloves and hear nothing but sweet words.

I do not think that is healthy for me, and would like to fight the addiction before it sets in.

Like Cat, I haven't been here long either, but I am feeling the growing effect (affect?) of Lit on me and wanting to post more and more? Is there a cure? Or am I detined to wander about, posting at all hours of the day or night?

I think I need to join due to a growing Lit addiction. I've been here for a long time, but in the early days, I didn't post much & I left for years, came back, left for years, came back...

I remember when getting to 100 posts was a big deal for me, and now this time I'm back I've gone from 100-something posts to over 1000, so I'd say I'm addicted for real this time!

And to Pranglez, I also remember being scared of this place but now I don't know what I was so afraid of...
