So the Taliban pogrom against Americans has begun. Will they be shot, beheaded, or skinned alive? Well Joe, are you happy?

Taliban is ‘hunting Americans,’ says California mom-to-be left behind in Afghanistan
The American, who just got married and said she is pregnant, says she wonders if she will die in Afghanistan

By Brie Stimson | Fox News

A pregnant woman named Nasria, a California native, flew to Afghanistan in June to visit family and get married. As of early September, she remained one of the estimated 100 to 200 Americans left behind in the chaotic withdrawal of U.S. forces, according to a report.

Now that the U.S. military is gone, the Taliban is "hunting Americans," she told the Voice of America.

"I think to myself, ‘Am I going to make it home? Am I going to end up living here? Am I going to end up dying here? What’s going to happen?'" Nasria, 25, who asked to be referred to only by her first name for safety reasons, said.

"Apparently they’re [the Taliban] going door-to-door … trying to see if anybody has a blue passport," she said.

It's right up there with M'arican Doo-gooders who get butchered in the fuckin' Congo, Sudan or whatever-Stan.

Go to 3rd world shit holes, suffer 3rd world reality.

I get this is part of the man-on-man Lit. trolling

aside from that:

I'm tired of Afghanistan, covid and all the crises.
A year ago they were interesting and exciting, but now... too draining

I'm also softening my stance on Biden.
Messed up withdrawal or not,
at least he got you guys out of that mess, didn't he?

Americans were warned to leave Afghanistan in April of this year--that they couldn't be protected after the withdrawal, which was announced a year before that.

Need I post more?

The Taliban will put her on a plane to America. They don’t want Americans in Afghanistan.

I think nearly all of the Americans still in Afghanistan are there because they somehow are folded into Afghani life and relationships--spouses and/or extended family members who are Afghani and can't get out with those holding American passports. It's a tough situation for them--and would be tough no matter what the circumstance where American withdrawal was a given and no matter what administration was in office in the States.

It's rotten to play on that just to make partisan points.

indeed, I now see vids and that they managed to rescue quite a few of those at imminent risk.

I used to see GB conservatives' points.
Because the international press (from most countries, not just the UK/US conservative one) is awash with horror stories + criticisms of Biden as incompetent strategist. Plus the the Kabul & airport scenes were jaw-dropping.

But then my rellies overseas brought up good points:
Army withdrawals are always messy and Have to happen abruptly, to avoid terrorist strikes.
The main issue (not sure if this is true) is that the Afghan government made a pact with Taliban. And THIS, not the manner of US withdrawal, allowed Talliban to take over.
