I recently got a comment on one of my stories, Megan's Anniversary Adventure from 26thNC stating The cheating whore will expect her husband to raise her little bastard./I]

About ten months ago he or she commented on the same story: Author woke up after four years and continues his whore's adventures right where he left off. We even have an indication that the next episode will be with the garbage man. Garbage is appropriate for this story line./I]

He or she has also commented on other stories, Megan's Glory Hole Adventure Perfect place to get out.if the rain and duck nasty strangers. Such a whore!/I].

He or she also commented on Megan's Convention Adventure, Wanted to see if it was as bad as the previous story. It was worse.

If he or she hates these type of stories why keep reading them? I will say one thing in his or her favor, at least they commented with their user name and not under anonymous. Still, I will say it's best not to read my stories since they most likely will include cheating in some form.

What strange things go on in the minds of men?

I’m not a psychiatrist, psychologist or whatever, so I can’t offer an explanation. I guess some people get a perverse thrill out of being outraged.

I’m guessing your stories are in Loving Wives. Unfortunately, hate mail goes with the territory nowadays.

If I don't like a story, I stop reading it. Hell, I don't even score it. I can only assume this vitriol was directed your way by some Pakled in the LW category. They seem to fester and grow there.

It's not the category itself, mind, just the readership who make it so very toxic.

Anyhoo, I'm sorry you've got a clinger. Some people just have nothing better to do than let their acidic pain and hate out on authors, I guess. Pity them. Evolution obviously didn't.

I can't say that I know, but criticism does seem to become territorial. For example there are movie critics who get a hate on for certain filmmakers and go out of their way to find their films and rip them apart.

A long time ago I worked with David Copperfield. There was a critic who wrote for The Hollywood Reporter who would review David's TV specials and live shows and open every review with something along the lines of, "I hate magicians and magic shows..." and then trash the show mercilessly. I always thought it was total bullshit that The Reporter would assign the guy who was on record about hating magic to review a magic show, but they did and he did.

A long winded way of saying that I think for what ever reason this guy has developed a hate on for your stories for whatever reason and is just looking for a way to take a potshot or two.

I find this interesting. I have a one-bomb follower who likes to get their vote out first with every story. And, sometimes I've received a generic comment of negativity early after being published. I think it's the same person. But I've always wondered why he or she follows me if they don't like what I write. They've always been anonymous.

I think some folks just get a hair up their ass for some reason. I say, fuck 'em.

I am of the opinion that humans thrive on arousal. Positive or negative, it's all the same to the lizard brain.

Part of why I write is to help people get off, and haters are getting off, whether they realise it or not. (Even the self righteous ones) 😉

When the average person encounters something they don't like, they avoid it. Be that anything from food to a type of movie to a story, we know what pisses us off so why be pissed off, especially when you're talking anything in the realm of entertainment?

But the people in that category are always angry, and they wallow in that anger, the way people sometimes wallow in grief where they'll look at pictures of lost loved ones fully knowing what it triggers.

They lived to be angry, it consumes them to the point its a damn drug and they need their fix. So this type of woman hating whacko comes here to read stories they know are about topics that send them frothing, it makes them angrier but like any addict they can't stop.

There's an old Simpson's episode where Bart gets a tattoo and Lisa keeps poking it, every time she pokes it he says "Ow, quit it," and this goes on rapid fire for a few seconds.

That's pretty much what they're doing.

Some of these people have reached the level where the term sick comes to mind and they need help, these stories and their abusing the author and ranting about what should happen to the characters is nowhere near the catharsis they need, what they need is therapy.

FWIW I know something of this because I have dealt with serious rage issues since my early teens, it ebbs and flows over the years depending on what life is tossing my way, years ago I could go from a dead calm to borderline psychotic in less time than it takes to type that

I still have the issues, they don't go away, but you realize you need some help, you learn to cope. I may have the RI record for anger management classes from the mid 80's to 2000 or so when I met my wife, my one tether to sanity. You learn how to AVOID certain scenarios and people and things like stories or movies, anything that can trigger.

But these people don't want help because their hatred is so deep and so focused that they think everyone else is wrong, every one is a "simp" but them. Their fed by you tube scum bags who spew incel and anti woman shit, and further encouraged by the asshats writing BTB stories where the only kink is hate.

Their a sad lot, and some may even be dangerous in person. If I were a better person I'd say I pity them, but....fact is that type is what drives my own anger issues, I'm their shadow partner in hate.

So I understand perfectly what drives them, and its not going to stop so as far as here goes, either delete the comment, or learn to roll your eyes and move on, anything else justifies their worthless existence.

26 is the kind of doink that would watch crap like The Simpsons.

I got a comment that was something like "Boring. Repetitive. Not erotic." I could literally picture him in a smoking jacket, leaning back into his leather chair, peering over his brandy snifter at me as he said it.

And I was like, buddy, it was 17,000 words long, you should have just bailed, my man 😂

You're right and one can only wonder at the mentality of somebody sticking to something they dislike that long unless it's central to a college literature course, but at least is was polite and coherent, and lacked SHOUTING, obscenities, threats and '!!!!!!!' Positive in some ways, yes?

You should be flattered. This fellow is an extraordinarily prolific commentator in LW (and you are right to acknowledge that at least he puts his name to the comments, unlike the anonymous trashers.)

But like the majority of frothing LW naysayers, his understanding of cuckoldry is inaccurate, disregards reality and the notion of consent, and is vastly expansive, almost in conspiracy territory. A hotwife who isn't monogamous equals 'cuck shit.'

In any event, getting your story trashed means you have earned a back-handed gold star, akin to having your work show up on the Index of Prohibited Books.

One story of mine took him four years to discover and denigrate. I was thrilled when he finally spoke up.

26thNC: Jim the cuck enjoys his whorewife after her gangbang. Lowest of the low.

yowser: Endorsed!

Finally, four years later, my story gets dissed by 26thNC. The stamp of quality...

Yes, 26thNC is one of the most prolific offenders, almost the ringleader of the entire LW crowd. Commenting on LW seems to be his favorite hobby, or maybe the only thing he actually does at all.

He must be an alpha over there, he has a handle instead of anon, truly his courage is inspiring.

Has anybody looked to see if that ID is active here on the boards?

Might contemplate the waste of time/energy in obsessing over the obsessing of others on the stories (or anything else) they personally hate.

We don't know. All we can do is speculate. There is something about the anonymity of the Internet that brings out the inner troll in some people. Not just here. On Facebook too. Twitter.

For all we know this person rescues puppies during the day. Then he gets on the Internet at night and the troll comes out, hungry and ready for mischief.

26thNC used to say that he was ex-military on his profile page. Now it just says "Dead." Did somebody change it for him, or is he just messing with us? He has no submissions, but quite a few favorites.

26thNC might comment using a user name but they may as well be anonymous. Their name is useless. Their profile page gives no information, surprisingly they haven’t published any stories, and they’ve got so many writers and stories favourited it would take an hour to read them.

I’ve got a couple of comments from them on a story and having read this thread I’m not surprised. Quite pleased, in fact.

I wouldn’t be surprised if I discovered they were following writers, using a different name, so they can be notified about new stories so they can trash them. I also wouldn’t be surprised to discover a whole tribe of them doing the same thing.

Well, I woke up to a comment on my Summer Love story, "Clambake," saying "Well, that was utterly ridiculous. 1-star all the way." and I went from 149 votes to 150 votes and lost my H falling from 4.52 to 4.49.

Had to be some kind of troll because you can say many, many things about that story, but "utterly ridiculous" it is not. One can never understand how someone is going to react to anything, the reasons, or the motives. And sometimes they are simply unfathomable.

Oh, for sure. It could be so much worse, as I am learning in this thread. I just don't understand the effort involved. But I am thankful that I didn't get shouted at, yes.

Some don't bother reading the stories, jump to the end, vote you down and the put you down.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this or not, but do you think that the Loving Wives group have mellowed a bit recently?

I submitted an LW story a few months ago, and braced myself for the strong negative feedback. It was narrated by the husband's sister - a feminist lesbian - and the cheating wife in question is an annoying mommy blogger type who puts her daughters into beauty pageants and is turning her young son into a sissy. The wife not only has affairs, but accepts money in return for sex, and gets up to some really kinky and twisted shit with her many lovers. She boasts about loving spending the money her husband makes, and the son is not even his kid, her gay cousin is the father. The wife is not held to account for her cheating, the husband remains oblivious to her philandering ways and that his lesbian sister added her name to the list of those who have jumped into bed with his wife.

I did get lots of very harsh comments and some low scores from angry readers. Some were critical of the actions of the characters, others of the story length and structure, some of my writing skills (or perceived lack thereof) and others were rants about Donald Trump, although what brought this on I could not say as Trump was irrelevant to the story, which takes place in Australia. But the comments were nowhere near as vicious as others I have seen on other LW stories with these types of themes, and I have had far worse comments on my Incest Taboo and even Fetish category stories.
