Treason as defined by the Constitution requires aiding and abetting the enemy. Unless we could prove that North Korea was behind this it wouldn't be an appropiate charge. Even if could prove China or Russia organized it not Trump they aren't enemies on paper.

They should definitely be charged for insurrection however. You must be following things VERY closely if you know each and every charge that has been levied at these people however.

The charging documents are available online. Not one person has been charged with insurrection. Most were tagged with trespassing. Not sure how that will stand when there is video of capital police waiving protesters into the building, posing for pictures with protesters and telling them they had to remain peaceful while they were in the building.
