As cases surge in Israel, where 78% of the adult population is vaccinated, cases and deaths are evaporating in Romania where only 26% of the adult population is vaccinated.

You might as well make another thread about survival rate.

Pro Tip: There’s a really cool website called Google.com. You can type in “Romania Covid” and it will retrieve this info for you!

And hospitalizations?

And you continually cherry pick non-useful data (peak). What was it 10/20/30 days ago? What has been the increase within the delta wave?

Answer: cases aren't "plummiting" and hospitalizations are rising exponentially.

Here are the daily cases and death graphs that show the trend over time. Cases began plummeting in late March. Deaths, being a lagging indicator, began plummeting a little over a month later. The site doesn’t provide hospitalization figures, but cases and deaths are down by more than 10X. We know that hospitalizations lag cases, and deaths follow hospitalizations.

How do we explain the trends when 74% of Romania’s population is compromised of unvaccinated people? An even lower percentage were vaccinated when the sharp decline began last spring?

People are actually dying from not vaccinating in the United States. It doesn't matter to them what's happening in Romania and Israel, you dimshit.

How many? Does it exceed other forms of death in America we all take for granted and assess risk against? Remember regular flu kills 20,000 to 30,000 a year.

I have a few ideas:

1. As others have pointed out, cases are actually going up in Romania over the last couple of weeks. It's a slow increase for now, but so was ours in June.

2. Cases have been falling in most of continental Europe.

3. Eastern Europe overall has had huge Covid numbers, and Romania has had death rates similar to the shitshow in the US; there's probably a lot of immunity from earlier infections.

Romania has a very low testing rate, so there’s likely much infection that isn’t found.

Yes, of course it exceeds other forms of death that are happening. It's unnecessarily on top of that--because of dimwits like you.

sounds like now would be the perfect time for you to move to romania. here's your hat................

Cases have quadrupled in a month, deaths have doubled.

But sure...nothing to see here.

When you compare now to januarys numbers (which you seem to enjoy), you are comparing the original strain, which dropped after the peak to the Delta strain, which started more recently.

We explain the increasing trends as expected and in two weeks when you try to forget you made Romania an example because they're overwhelmed with the variant. Just like you did with all the cases in the US which have led to overwhelmed hospitals and unvaxxed deaths at record rates.

Anybody that's so fucking stupid they can't look that info up for themselves doesn't deserve a civil answer.

Now to your question. Everyone is reporting cases and positive tests. NOT whether they were given an anti-body titer and what the results of THAT test were. If THOSE tests were administered it might be found that a huge swath of the population have already had the Wuhan Flu and were just asymptomatic. The same might be found in a lot of other nations as well. But the administration of an anti-body titer would run the risk of preventing the petty tyrants from advancing their agenda.

As far as Romania itself is concerned it is a small nation with a relatively young population (83% under the age of 64). They also have a relatively low obesity rate, #75 world rating (as compared the the US at #12 and higher is better in this case).

So tell us what the death rates are due to Covid, in the states mentioned, or shut the fuck up.

Why is Israel surging when 78% of adults are vaccinated? Why have cases and deaths in Romania fallen off a cliff when 74% are NOT vaccinated?

one word-variants. see, viruses do this thing. when assholes don't get vaccinated, the virus mutates, lots of times to a stronger, more deadly strain. so, more people get it (even vaccinated ones) because that's how viruses work. google 'virus'.

Because that's not what is happening. Quadrupling cases is not "fallen off a cliff" in any sense of the phrase

Lol. Cases in Romania have “quadrupled” to 529 (there were over 6K this spring) and deaths have “doubled” to 9. 😂 Don’t like the comparison to January? Then try comparing the numbers to March.

Why can't we get ahead of the virus in the United States? Forget Israel and Romania. Why isn't this happening in the United States? Hint: it's because of dumb clucks like you peddling disinformation on how (or, even more idiotic, if) to fight the virus.

Yes, you keep comparing Delta wave to previous waves.

You just arent getting it....at all. This is the start of a wave that is increasing faster than the previous and all you're looking at are static numbers from single dates.

I'm not comparing numbers...I'm looking at the current (and increasing) trend line.

The same shit happened in Texas and Missouri and both areas have hit much higher numbers in a shorter amount of time than the previous waves.

95% of the population of romania is vampire, anyway, and vampires don't get covid.
