Where did the speaker mention trust in America or NATO? He seemed to be more about the lack of patience and willingness to tough it out because he believes it works, but his focus was NATO and the UK.

Our allies not trusting us goes back to the Trump "administration"--for good reason. That's the case with Afghanistan, as well. Trump established the current Afghanistan circumstance. That guy who just arrived in Kabul to head up the Taliban rule? Trump asked Pakistan to release him from detention.

The Gitmo 5 oBama released are in Qatar. These are the "new" terrorists Biden confirmed his release with in negotiations before he ran away this week. He did this in the Middle East. oBiden did not negotiate with the same leaders Trump did.
The two Trump released in 2018 were part of the negotiations the Taliban failed to comply with. These two are in Afghanistan now. One as political speaker [Zabihullah Mujahed] and the other as deputy leader polititian [Baradar] Trump had the Paki's release from house arrest.
These two are on the ground in Afghanistan along with he others considered "top" in the pictures. Those were never jailed but protected by Pakistan.
Obama released the Gitmo5 in 2014.
Khairullah Khairkhwa Is likely now running the show as Supreme Leader from Qatar. This is also who Biden recognized as leadership when his negotiations failed and he ran from Afghanistan leaving our citizens and weapons behind as abandoned.
