If my aunt died I'd maybe find out 6 months later. Actually I got 2 and it applies to both. I'd hear about my uncle with a couple days probably but only cuz I have a brother who lives nearby and sees him now and then. Of course he'd have to call me and he only does that maybe twice a year so there's that.
Long story short, I can't relate. Mom, dad, sibling, maybe even grandparent. But not aunt. There would be like zero effect on my day.
