Where did you get the word "lavish" from? I expect that employers treat their employees with respect and dignity. Capitalism without any regard to employees is worthless, since employees end up buying the products that are made in the economy.

If the answer of increasing prices of goods is to immediately pass that along to consumers and employees, then there is absolutely no cognizance of the reality of our economy. We will always end up upside down.

1. That's probably not true, as the historical record shows
2. Even if it were true, 40 years of right wing economic policy means no one but the rich really benefits from having corporations onshore anyway. Few or no property taxes, sub-living wages where even full time employees still need public assistance...where's the value-added for the employees or the community?
3. History also shows companies really don't need a push from the government to move overseas. It happens no matter which party holds the White House, and it will continue to happen until either they run out of poor countries where people are willing to take slave-wage jobs, or until the American people are willing to pay slightly more for their goods and services to actually support American workers.
