Florida man receives 8 months in prison, first Jan 6 defendant sentenced

Since 1/6 was the equivalent of 9-11 or Pearl Harbor, according to neurotic Democrats, is it fair to assume that we should have put Osama in the pokey for eight months? Maybe Tojo and Yamamoto, too?

It was a direct attack on Congress and disrupted one of the most traditional parts of our democracy...of course it was big.

But seriously, evidence is widespread from Jan 6...hard to avoid prosecution when you openly break the law in view of so many angles and people.

To listen to the Donks, it was worse than either of those two dust-ups, so doesn't it make sense that if someone is sentenced to eight months for 1/6, we would have only put Osama or Tojo in the pokey for, what?, half a year for 911 or Pearl?

It doesn't make sense. Hell, if BLM held a sit down protest on the Capitol steps, they'd sentence them for years and probably discover a drug charge or two along the way.

They attacked the White House and didn't get that much.

The January 6th seditious attack on the U.S. Capitol was part of a Donald Trump (incompetently) planned coup against the United States. Until Donald Trump is charged and prosecuted in this case the answer to the question of whether or not he is being held above the law is "yes, thus far." There are a multitude of other instances of Trump corruption, criminality, sexual abuse, and treason that Donald Trump is currently floating above the law on. He needs to be prosecuted, convicted, and imprisoned for across-the-board criminal behavior.

My God, have you stopped wetting your panties yet?

If a Democrat had done a fraction of the criminal treasonous shit that the traitor in chief had done I would have called for their impeachment and criminal prosecution.

That

Is

A

Fact.

Good for you. Your thinking skills are way fucked up.
Why don't you set your sights on those scumbags who burned down Minneapolis and demand that those who tried to torch the federal courthouse in Portland face some sort of justice?

The ones already charged and awaiting trials or the larger group of people who weren't responsible that you Trumpies have decided are guilty without any evidence?

No one is above the law.

If the Minneapolis and Portland DAs have evidence to support prosecution of the criminal opportunists who looted and rioted, then throw the fucking book at them TOO.

How's that OJ???

Jesus fucking Christ...he pleaded guilty to a felony. 8 months...2 year probation...can't own a gun...probably can't vote...totally fucking fair

Scumbags like the Three Percenters and Boogaloo Bois? White supremacist gangs and out-of-state arsonists?

You do realize that what you shared is not a criminal indictment. Impeachment is a political process. The Biden Administration has not lifted a finger to even attempt to prosecute Trump. Joe is asleep, Garland is lazy and incompetent, they have no case, and your friend Keith has a theory of his own. 😂
Yes. You asked if Trump was prosecuted for 1/6. He was, by Congress.

Since you didn’t know about the gallows, I figured you were ignorant of the second impeachment.

That felony fucks him on gun ownership but he gets a shit ton of street cred in the Trump crowd so its a wash.

Wy would they do that? They agree with the scumbags.

Trump was accused, tried and found not "guilty."

Meanwhile back at the ranch a thousand looters, rioters, and arsonists, had their charges dropped.

He was found guilty (impeached) twice. He wasn't removed from office.

That's how impeachments work.

Impeachment is merely an accusation. The trial is in the Senate. They even call it that, bright boy.

Do you know anything about how the Constitution works?
