Book Sellers + Leftism == Book Burners

The American Booksellers Association recently issued a groveling apology for having committed a heinous, unforgivable act. What did they do? They offered for sale a book. But it wasn't just any book. It was a book that offended the New Royalty: Trannies.

See, they had in their July mailing Abigail Shrier's "Irreversible Damage" that details the stories of teen girls that have "transitioned" to be girls that look like boys. And for that they must be punished.

This outfit, that laughably claims to be for free speech, free expression and free exchange of ideas, said it was "violence" to include the book in the mailer.

Bookselling is small profits, very slow returns. In the UK the average time a book stays on a shop shelf is SEVEN years. The stock has to be reasonably large so a lot of capital is tied up for years.

If you want to make a living, almost any other business is better.

I believe all of that. I think it's a labor of love for most book sellers.
