Did you properly get those sticky bits that build up around the little leg stump things it slides on? And have you worked out how what you thought was a clean mouse pad or table top gets so fucking filthy to leave that grunge there? I haven't, and I've been using a mouse for over thirty years. Not the same mouse, though.

Many, Many , Many years ago, I walked into a Walmart in a small town in the middle of nowhere. There were a dozen Logitech Marble Mouse track balls on the clearance table. I bought them all. I think I have four left. Nothing better.

Logitech are the dog's bollocks (mouse's?)
I use their ergonomic ones and when one died and I couldn't tell if ones in packets with different model numbers were the same shape, I called their customer service without much hope.
Ended up chatting to a charming young man in Switzerland who arranged for me to be sent two new mice (RRP 50 quid or more each) free of charge.
Of course now I'm going to be scraping crud off my mouse all through my next meeting, but at least I know it's only from my hand...

By the way, it seems Logitech has scrapped the M570 and gone to a newer better, more oootzy and higher price version.
Guess I need to be shopping for a spare or two.

The Great Liberator for me was the availability of inexpensive wifi keyboards and mice. I'm used to little old laptops and when I'd have to use the PC I felt like I was chained to a loom in some 19th century factory.

Not a problem. HM is a lefty and uses a trackball with not problem. Th only thing she does different is swap the buttons around.

I'm trying to find my DVD player, which I'm pretty sure is in a box in the basement. I'm starting to binge an old favorite TV show right now and since I paid for all of it on DVDs I feel like I should use them.
I guess I can order a new Superdrive if I have to. Or just give in and watch the bad Hulu version.

I couldn't even imagine going back to corded. Wireless keyboard and mouse all the way. My desk is too messy for anything else and I haven't finished procrastinating yet.
