Art prompt

Thought I’d contribute seeing as this place is a little sleepy. This is my work for “round”,” it isn’t my best, and I’m trying out new simple rendering techniques but I hope you like it. :)

Thank you so much! I used Procreate on iPad.

And I’d like to apologize for hogging the art prompt thread but I was having too much fun with the word “round.”

One more picture with a little bit more effort added and I’ll see myself out. :D

Those are both a lot of fun. My favorite kind of roundness.:)

(They're pretty honkin' huge images, can't even see the entire image without reduction.)

Sorry. I tried to stay within the 1000 pixel width rule, and a canvas that's under 1000 pixels width really brings out the pixels in digital art.

Sure, I get trying to show one's work to maximum effect.
I also do recommend creating your art at high resolution, you can't increase clarity afterwards, but you can reduce the size.
I only bring it up, because it is difficult to enjoy a piece if you can only see a bit at a time. (Yes, I know, I can zoom out or control-click and open in a new tab and I do, or download) It's just that in this day and age, with folk with goldfish attention spans... those folk won't.

For uploading directly to LIT on your post, the size is 600pixels max height and 800 pixels max width.

Here's an example of your work saved down to 600pixels H:
*snip*
Not bad.

NOTE: after you have seen it, I will take it down, as it is your artwork and you should have control over that (as much as one can, after it has been upload to to the Interwebs) DONE.

That's nice! No need to leave. Post more. I like Throbbs' idea of reducing the images so we can see them better, though.

I’ve taken the liberty of resizing my illustrations, but for future references, if I use an image hosting website like Imgur what are the maximum dimensions allowed? Just so I know the rules.

I’ll be sure to post more when another idea pops up. :)

I think it's like The Pirates' Code —*more of a "guideline" — don't blow up the threads with giant images. ;)

You can, if you choose, but folk will probably get annoyed at some point.:)

See above? When people quote your post WITH the image, there's TWICE the giant image, or on some threads, many.

Oh, good, because I have an illustrated story I will be publishing soon with around 12-15 illustrations. Since the illustrated section has a limit of 500 pixels width, I was thinking maybe of putting the relatively high-resolution originals here and linking the readers to this forum. They’re 1,000 pixels maximum width but varying in height.

Sure, you can start your own thread just for that purpose.

Throbbs
It's that time again and the word is......?
I was thinking of my favorite Korben Dallas quote "Thrilled"

My Entry for Thrilled

Alice was Thrilled with her first DP and cuckold session with her husband.
I tried to simulate an old photo Kodak 120 film that went in the cheap flip up viewer Kodak camera that had a flash bulb. Bad lighting, uneven and now long faded.

A different kind of 'art prompt' today - actually still work in progress, but maybe your imaginative minds can help to fill in the missing (enlarged) details...

It's been quiet for quite some time.

Here's one for summer time:

"Buttons" - Wouldn't you love them all become undone?

Well, one cannot...

I hate the likes of you with your drawing skills! Anything I do looks like a three legged spider with the shakes has exploded on the page.

I won't show you my first attempt of drawing a female face...which had more resemblance with a Buddhist monk. In the end it's practice, practice, and pra...studying pictures, and experimenting. I wonder why we don't have a 'Failed Illustrations' - I could put a lot there...

Happy drawing

Oh, I study pictures...
