As you may be aware, the US Supreme Court just issued a beatdown on the NCAA, ruling that (duh) athletes have the right to profit off of their NIL. Naturally, some cranky old men have their diapers in a bunch over it, but athletes are starting to get paid. At the U, a biz man is paying each player $500 a week...and the law just took effect 1 July.

IDEA: some huge schools...think Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma...can't compete financially. As a result, a clandestine group gets together to recruit coeds willing to provide more carnal benefits.

The slight variant I read here (sorry, I forget the title) had a frat's associated sorority's "little sisters" carnally recruit frat prospects. No cash involved, sorry.

But the trope can go beyond school sports and frats. Use sex (any genders, any kinks) to recruit top academic prospects, hot professors, alumni donors, celebs for honorary degrees, etc. One may suspect this is already a common college practice, mayn't one?

For fun and exploration, move the setting from USA to your favorite nation.

Except, as the Supreme Court pointed out, those positions are already available with high financial compensation level. The NCAA was just making up a lawless rule that very valuable (and money making) athletes could not get compensated. Now that they can, the scramble is on. The next few years will be a revelation on how this will play out.

As if this ISN'T going on right now (along with other students to take tests for them).
