Question for the Lit people out there. What exactly is a Dad Bod. I’ve heard many woman say how they want a man with a Dad Bob but I’m not actually sure what that is and if I have one. Is that a skinny guy, fit guy or someone who might have a few extra pounds. And what exactly about it that gets the ladies going. Curious minds want to know!

It's a man who is carrying a few extra pounds. They usually don't have muscle definition and probably have man breasts and a protruding belly. Generally speaking, women do not like "Dad Bod" even the ones who are overweight themselves. The only time I have actually heard women claim to have a thing for a guy with dad bod is always online. In person they desire the tall, in good physical shape man.

It's the same dynamic with us men who don't like "mom bod", way overweight women. Only men tend to get judged for having that preference.
