god, i loved that scene! i saw 'putney swope' first run in a theater, when they ran that commercial my poor little chemically enhanced brain was permanently altered. or, as we said at the time, my mind was blown.

Ooooh, this is so sad....Thank you for posting as I have not seen the news...Putney Swope is a classic in my mind...Still remember the first time I saw it as a kid & he directed it on a very slim budget back then....Have it in my library ☺
