The neighbors back on his tractor baling hay. Just watching him makes me sweat.

Lol ..they don't bale hay. My dad was an asshole. He would crank the bale tighter until I couldn't lift it. So here I was...80 pounds...stacking bales that weighed 120. And getting screamed at if I didn't go 5 high. Then the mother fuck would put me in the mow. Nothing like working in 130 degree heat under a tin roof barn with no airflow. And if the hay was rained on...it was dusty as shit. I will say...it turned on the neighbor lady...she would always lay out in the yard when we baled

People don't know hard back breaking work unless they've tossed bales or hung tobacco.

Saw that on something the other day, and although I've never hung tobacco, I had my fair share of hay as a kid.

This is how it used to be done. One drives the tractor...one on the stacking wagon. That was me. Then to unload, you used an elevator to get the bales up into the hay mow. It sucked. Straw was worse cause it would rub your forearms bloody.

Sounds nice. What are you reading? I was boxing some stuff up the other day and ran across a copy of The Kite Runner. I was just skimming the first page or 2 and now I'm about half way through it for the 4th time.

Don’t you have places there where you can get two sets of glasses for a relatively low price? I don’t guess rubbing the puppy’s nose in the glasses would make much of an impact

Reading about recipes, nutrition. Maybe finish reading an urban fantasy series with vamps & werewolves. I used to be into reading European history, a lot, but the political situation has put me off of it.
