Yes and I asked this question in another thread....will people change?

I don't see any evidence of this happening on any scale that matters.
I actually just wished well a bunch of very liberal folks who were all aware of the climate links to the fires in Greece and the US West....yet, they are heavy fliers in jet planes(to party, not to work or do "essential work") and they are all heavy consumers and users of fashion industry product which is a major contributor of green house gas emissions.

They drink the tea water and are not able to see their role in climate. Change at all and not will to change their behavior.

Will people change? What will it take for change?

Creating a tax will not make any difference other than to fund insanity.

Conservation is real. Stop waste. Otherwise the solution is like Al Gore pointed out in the "An Inconvenient Truth". He needs to decide how much of the population to eliminate to ensure the planet can support the said population.

Meanwhile the climate change conservationists scream and yell about animals going extinct while there are more animals on earth to maintain the food supply than wild animals. The rich climate change phenatics are purchasing all the farms. Joe Biden is attempting to create an inheritance tax that will ensure all the remaining family farms will be for sale as the existing generation hands over their lifes work to their family.

Instead of preserving what we have the climate change idiots that yell the loudest are perpetuating a money grab that will not change climate change at all.

Yes, there is warming and some is caused by human activity. Very few climate scientists, including those that the left falsely labels “deniers” (ex. Judith Curry), question climate change or deny that GHG and land use plays a role. The debates center around how great of a threat it poses and how to address it. Better water management, dykes, dams, building codes, zoning, play a big role in mitigation. Reducing GHGs of course too. Nuclear power and renewables belong in the mix.
