And while I do write incest, all the female members of the family are on birth control. Or the male members of the family us condoms. But as I don't like them, the women are tasked with the birth control, at least until science comes up with a birth control pill for men.

You omitted the "incestuous clan in a remote location" detail. The family, stuck out in mid-nowhere, had nothing to do but 1) fuck each other and 2) waylay and eat the occasional passerby. For a LIT tale, the incestuous clan would waylay and fuck passersby, likely adding them to the clan for genetic diversity. Imagine a few generations of this.

They did make a pill for men, years ago. Why isn't it on the market; the testers were getting mood swings, and gaining wieght, other side-effects that women get on the pill. So there's no pill, because men didn't like the side-effects. Perfectly okay for women, I guess. I haven't read your stories, but I don't see the point of all that protection, they won't get pregnant if you don't write it. Besides; getting pregnant doesn't just happen every time sex does. Hell me and my girlfriend have been fucking raw for three years and no baby yet.

Of course they don't get pregnant every time. But, that one in a million chance seems to always happen when you least expect it.

So, my characters are always on the pill or the man uses a condom or he pulls out before he starts squirting. And condoms are used for another reason, AIDS, and all the other nasty STDs out there today.

Another reason a lot of my stories are placed back in the 60s and 70s. Or far in the future where those diseases have been solved.

Now I did write one where the women wanted to get pregnant but it too was set in the future. Or a future.

But seriously, it's worth looking at. There can be tricky things, like, if she's Rh-negative, but potential kids high chances to be positive, she may only complain about heavy menstruation that shifted a bit late while it's actually miscarriage. I know a couple that took years to figure that out, she apparently actually conceived every month and had just accepted that as her new normal. After intervention they got twins, and two other kids later needed no help.
