It is much more important to educate these folks on how they were deceived and endoctrinated and have them do service to make amends to get the point across.

Harsh sentencing and harsh punishment that does not fit the crime has always been a recipe for more recidivism, not less repeat offenders.

Well we all know what the no bail policy in NY did. The fact is when you're in jail you are not a recidivist. They probably found out she was a left wing provocateur and let her off.
