It’s finally happening. Even the deep blue states are catching on. The grocery stores from California to New York are being invaded by maskless Americans who have moved on. From the barrios of Los Angeles to Boston Harbor, from the shores of Lake Michigan to the Gulf of Mexico, it’s officially ok to behave like humans again. Americans of all stripes are saying goodbye to those silly masks!

When did the massive dying stop? Oh, yeah, when Donald Trump left office and people began getting vaccinated and seriously worn masks until they were so that now, yes, after Donald Trump is out of office, we can start returning to normal again--and not nearly as many people are dying. Now it's mostly the stupid ones who won't follow the science by getting vaccinated and doing something as simple as wearing a mask while that's needed.

I was with you until you called the masks, "silly", there is nothing silly about those masks. They served a life-saving purpose pre-vaccine. There are still quite a bit of people who are not vaccinated.

I’m not tossing my masks quite yet. I believe they are still required in certain venues like flights, public transport, etc. Many local businesses are still requiring them. We will have to see about schools come fall since currently the vaccine is only approved for ages 12 and up.

Exactly, we got some common sense back in the white house, they're handling the pandemic far better than it should've been from the beginning, and things have gotten better so people are wearing the masks less and less.

It's confusing as some buisnesses require people to wear them, some don't, and if you go out and about you still got to carry one because you never know when you are going to a place where they are required. Since January of 2021, 99% of the people admitted to hospitals with a primary diagnosis of Covid have been unvaccinated.

At this point, if you have Covid, it's basically your own damned fault.

You always blindly follow a doctor's advice? You've never went to get a second opinion because something a doctor told you just didn't seem right? A doctor will often tell you to get a second opinion. Doctors are one of the few professions that tell you they "practice" their profession. A doctor practices medicine. A doctor doesn't always get it right.

Hospitals and clinics still require face masks for everyone in the waiting room, patients and visitors. I for one hope that never changes.

And zero correlation between states and countries with strict mask mandates & high rates of compliance with Covid cases, hospitalizations, and deaths. But there are still lots of people who believe that unsealed masks made of paper and fabric work like N95 masks in blocking airborne virus particles. Lol.
