DeSantis' "top priority" bill results = complete failure

No counterpoint on DeSantis' utter failure?

Didn't think so. Thanks for playing. ;)

Businesses will only do something if you give them incentive to do so.

There was not enough penalty to businesses who did not participate

Correct. Toothless bill that was all for show - just like him.

We should all be worried about a guy who couldn't even win 50% of the vote in his home state becoming POTUS.

Why??

You act like popularity is an indicator of virtue or competence.

Meanwhile history shows very clearly the most popular are rarely those things......thus the problem with democracy.

DeSantis will need to be popular enough to win his home state in 2022 if he wants to run for POTUS.

You don't seem to understand how elections work.

DeSantis signs new bill requiring K-12 public schools to hold moment of silence each day

If a D proposed such a bill you can be certain that at least one poster here would be screeching " Authoritarian D's - interference in individual freedoms, Commie Progressives," and sundry drivel. :D

Someone is triggered by an (R) with enough balls to take their toes off the (D) line.

You must admit there is no real point to such a bill. Except perhaps to relieve the feelings of teachers, who get at least one moment each day when the kids will be silent.

You don't need to win as or be governor to run for POTUS.

You only need to be 35 years old and a natural born citizen, PVTSpiderThey needs to go back to the 5th fuckin' grade.

He would also need to win a party's nomination. Again, you don't seem to understand how this works.

Article II section I says nothing about needing to win a party nomination.

Again, I'm not the one with a lack of understanding here. :D
