This is a pointless debate. The mask mandates were intended to slow the spread of the virus. We now have voluminous data from all over the world that shows no correlation between mask mandates and Covid cases, hospitalizations, and deaths. Lab experiments are no substitute for actual implementation.

The same studies show that.masks did prevent spread during low infection periods.

But dipshit is also still ranting about HCQ not being approved because he has one study he found from fox news that he believes supports its use as an overall treatment even though it didn't say that.

All measures suggested by health officials were to mitigate risk. Any of those measures, mandated or not, which contributed more than doing nothing at all, were beneficial. One can certainly debate to what level....but in order.to debate, you need to accept certain basic facts about virus spread and you also need to avoid using useless stats such as death rate or survival rate.

Haven't worn a mask since I was vaccinated. But people who can't be bothered to follow health guidelines deserve all the ridicule in the world.
