football on the BBC

You watching the Spain Sweden game? Can't believe the Manuels aren't seven nil up.

The Jocks have been shit since the late 70's. The nation's still having hangover from The Bay City Rollers

The Scots would struggle in League 2 based on that garbage. The highlights were 9 minutes - 8 minutes too long.

Best idiot commentary: "You can't fault Marshall for that goal" !!!!

yes, but its nice to show amateur sport before the main event.:D

When you say football I assume you're talking about that gay rugby you lot play in body armour and tights?

That second Czech goal was fucking hilarious.

The keeper was probably just doing what he was instructed to do. All too often modern managers and Goal keeping coaches require keepers to be so far out of their goal to play some sort of sweeper role. That's all well and good until they get caught out and made to look like idiots.

Alex Ferguson is on record as saying, "You tell the goal keeper what you want him to do and then, if he is any good, he does what he pleases." He was talking about Peter Schmeichel at the time.

the treacherous bastard who went on to play for the noncey neighbours? CUNT!

In the States, all pros are mercs. They usually don't come from the cities they play for. Are they supposed to have some kind of local loyalty in the UK?

sadly most are also mercenaries now. historically though they were mainly local. One Club though, formed by poor working class railway workers, still to this day always includes one local in the match day squad.
#glazersout.
