This apology is not directed at any particular individual, but to all who have been ghosted and in particular to any women I've ghosted over the years. I am deeply sorry for any pain that may have caused you. I now know how you feel and it sucks.
I was recently ghosted (for lack of a better term) by a long time chat partner. We had grown very close over time, so it was particularly painful when she just disappeared. I've tried to reach out to her, but have received no response. We had been planning to meet up in September and now that seems destined to not happen.
I know that she recently went through a divorce and is dating someone new, so I understand her perspective. But I wish she would at least have said goodbye. I'm sure I've done the same thing to women at times over the years and looking back now I feel absolutely terrible about it.
This probably is less of a personal ad than many that appear here, so let me end this way. If you are a woman who has experienced something similar and want someone to commiserate with, hit me up. Or if you've been lucky enough to be spared this experience, but would like to chat anyway, I'm always looking for friends (and lovers). I'd love to hear from you.
And all are welcome to comment below about their own experiences with being ghosted. Thanks for listening!
