1. Rejection of(or week commitment to) democratic rules of the game.

2. Denial of legitimacy of political opponents.

3. Toleration or encouragement of violence.

4. Readiness to curtail civil liberties of opponents including media.

"Politicians who meet even one of these criteria is cause for concern. What kind of candidates tend to test positive on the litmus test for authoritarianism? Very often, populist outsiders do."

Oh look....Democrats on all 4.

Not by you.

1) Cry more about the popular vote, getting rid of the EC and use impeachment as a way to nullify some more elections why don't you?

2) See #1.

3) You can call it "mostly peaceful protest" all you want, nobody actually believes that. Not even you.

4) Ban all the people you don't like from any media platforms you want, cancel culture, ban hate speech and guns. :)

That is not rejection of the democratic rules of the game, it is all perfectly constitutional.

2) See #1.

Does not apply, and the Pubs have been denying the legitimacy of the opposition ever since Reagan. They seem to have the idea that the Reagan Revolution was once-and-for-all and no subsequent Dem can be legitimate -- I even recall seeing the Obama Admin referred to as "the usurpation" on RW boards, and in the Clinton years, Rush Limbaugh used the phrase "America held hostage."

3) You can call it "mostly peaceful protest" all you want, nobody actually believes that. Not even you.

The Pubs are by far the greater offenders in that regard, and Trump actually encouraged that shit from 2016 to 2021.

4) Ban all the people you don't like from any media platforms you want, cancel culture, ban hate speech and guns. :)

There is no "curtailment of civil liberties" in Twitter or Facebook banning Trump, they're private companies, they get to do that. As for hate speech, many free countries take a much harder line on that than we do here. As for banning guns, it's politically impossible, I accept that. As for "cancel culture," it's nonsense and it always was.

Being Constitutional doesn't mean you didn't reject the democratic rules of the game.

We won the election and you guys spent 4 years trying to undo/undermine it....many of which suggested and STILL support changing the election rules.

Does not apply,

*100% PURE* partisan hackery ^^

No, they are just more honest about it.

The mass rioting we lived with for 4 years that (D)'s enabled, protected and continue to encourage is part of their Marxist push for a "great leap forward" in progress.

Legally yes, in effect censorship is still censorship....still anti civil rights and anti-American in action and spirit.

As for hate speech, many free countries take a much harder line on that than we do here.

So, is that some kind of justification for being pro-censorship?? Pushing anti-civil rights position??

As for banning guns, it's politically impossible, I accept that. As for "cancel culture," it's nonsense and it always was.

Doesn't make you any less authoritarian and anti-American for supporting all that shit. :D

That is all perfectly legitimate stuff within the rules of the democratic game. Unlike the stuff your side has been doing to undermine the 2020 election.

Actually it has only been a year and a half, and has no purpose other than to stop police brutality.

Regarding 1. Rejection of (or weak commitment to) democratic rules of the game, see this highly disturbing thread.
