Such a great thing to see....investment for the private sector and commitment by Govt's globally will move the planet towards lowering carbon emissions and sustainable green energy technologies and solutions.

The planet will move to green energy when the market is ready for it. When technology has made it economically feasible we will use it. We keep pushing renewables like solar, but coal is being done in by natural gas. Technological advances have made it cheaper, cleaner and more efficient.

...and for $150 years after the founding and this phrase was espoused by out founders, this country was a back water non-important place. We where nothing to the world really...until about 1945.

We have only been the "great America" since 1945 and guess who propelled us into our great power status.

Everything that has made us a world super power was as a result of the Federal Govt using it's money and ability to build infrastructures.

Had this not happened, had the USA not changed its internal structure and had it not taken a few actions in the world back then it is doubtful this country would resemble much of how it is today. It would still be a backwater minor player in the world. It may have even been taken over by external forces.
