Am I the only one that seems a little concerned about the comments in some stories that attack the female characters? I know they're just comments, and they're mostly anonymous so I shouldn't care, but some of them seem really derogatory towards the female characters even when there's no major reason for those characters to be attacked.

It feels like there's a group of incel's running around here just waiting for an excuse to trash women, despite them being only fictional.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but it still feels like they're getting too much.

My standard response to those is "go suck on a dead dingoes dick." I have had very few comebacks, sadly.....

You could've stopped at 'too many incels', but point taken. I've turned off Anonymous comments for now because they and racists were making rather sickening comments. They think it's a win, but let them find a different place than my wall to display their mental illness.

I beat up and brutalize them a lot in my stories for their cowardice, and the sweet tears of incel butthurt are a noble goal and reason to keep going. They're like racists, they're terrified of their increasing irrelevance, knowing they'll just disappear, so they scream as loudly as possible.

Be distressed, by all means. Bemoan their continued existence, just as they do of women ('femoids' in their limited vocabulary). But take heart in the knowledge that their day is coming and they will be no more.

Until then, do what my character Freja did and break their nose before suplexing them through a table. It's great fun, really.

Yeah, not just you. It's been a known problem for as long as I've been here.

I get those sorts of comments about any female character who appears to be dominant in a relationship - not always from anon.

I just delete them...

And I have had several of these on many of my stories;

anti american progressive piece of shit

That is a response to challenging Trumpists on the General Board and Politiac Board. Deleted...

This problem has been around a long time, and it isn't going to go away.

You can always delete them. I'd suggest NOT responding to them, and just deleting them. These folks thrive on knowing they've gotten under your skin, so don't let them know they've done that. You can't reason with them, so there's no point in responding.

I see you just published a LW story. That category is incel central. You should expect such comments from that crowd. This in no way excuses their behavior and comments, of course. Deleting their comments won’t change them or their opinions but can make sure you don’t give them “airtime.”

Welcome to the internet.
Certain categories and stories seem to attract them - outside LW and some BSDM and dubcon stories that were misogynist to start with, I rarely see them.

They all popped up when I gave my first 750-word challenge story the somewhat misleading title 'Denying Alex' - forgetting 'denying' men sex is a huge incel dogwhistle. I deleted most of them, but it was very sweet that a number of posters from here started commenting to tell them they were idiots.

That hasn't been my experience. The most venomous comment I ever received was from a lesbian who didn't like two women discussing blow jobs in a lesbian story.

Of course, I've never published in LW, and I don't venture out of the AH in the boards. I'm not sure what that says about me personally, but it suddenly makes me uncomfortable. Huh.

Something always to keep in mind: these incel folks are a minority. Most readers do not think the way they do, and that includes readers of Loving Wives stories. These folks get attention out of proportion to their numbers because they are noisy and say outrageous things. Loving Wives is still a good category in which to publish stories about extramarital fun because the readership is very large. You just have to have a thick enough skin to put up with the incel types and understand that their feedback will knock your score down. But you will still get high view numbers and more comments (including good ones) than you will get elsewhere.

There are too many incels running around, full stop...infesting every forum and subreddit relating to sex and/or dating....

Haven't had that problem. Of course there are very few female characters in most of my stories. :)

The fact they're still allowed through despite the fact the site is now screening comments is even more telling.

The latest thing is the alpha incels-as in they can put together a few coherant sentences together-make you tube videos now where the angle is to brag about being single and act like that's what they want because all women are bad.

Pathetic.

I know things aren't the same as when I was raised back in the men should have no feelings, etc, but Jesus Christ when did men start whining and crying like little girls...except at this point little girls are tougher.

Pathetic and embarrassing.

About six weeks ago I posted a Loving Wives story that inspired rants about Donald Trump in the comments section. This was somewhat surprising as the story takes place in Adelaide South Australia, Trump is not mentioned once nor was he in any way relevant to the story, and it did not have a political theme in general.

I've had negative comments about female characters before, but one story that surprised me the other way was one I wrote a few years ago called 'Spoiled Princess Hates Camping' In this story, the titular 'spoiled princess' is Madison, an overly-indulged 18-year-old brat from New York City. I expected lots of negative comments about the very unlikeable Madison such as 'what a brat', 'stupid spoiled bitch' or 'she needs her ass spanked, and not in an erotic way'. However, I never had one negative comment about Madison, but plenty of negative feedback about the loud-mouthed, brash Australian guy she ends up having sex with.

After these threads brought the BTB storylines to my attention (and their comments), it made me realize how naive I am for an erotica writer. Whenever I looked through them and the comments, it just kind of made me feel all sad and empty. Not that I’m dissing anyone’s fetish! I wouldn’t dare while living in this extremely fragile glass house.

Anyway, I write happily ever after stories (be it noncon, romance, BDSM, or horror) and so far the comments have all been mostly nice or just odd :)

After a comment I got the other day, I'm gonna add a disclaimer to my bio page:

To certain trolls: The women always win. They do what they want. There is no revenge. These aren't the fantasies you're looking for. Move along.

Its not about the fetish, its about the hate driven lunatics who have taken that fetish and made it into abusive garbage, author and reader alike.

The people who write BTB stories are as bad as the incel readership. I'm not talking about a one off let's see if I can write one, but the 'men' who write them all the time.

You're encouraging that hatred and using it to fuel your own hatred of women, and you think its funny. Trash writing trash for trash to get your hard on with a hate on because you'll never say anything to an actual person for fear you'll get what's coming to you.

Now before I hear lame comparisons that anyone writing incest or non con is encouraging that, no one in incest comments spews they want to rape torture or beat the mom/sister/dad whoever is in the story.

FFS the people in non con, a fetish about rape fantasy, doesn't contain that content in comments, to the contrary I've seen a lot of stories get called out for maybe going too far... for the most part, that readership looks like feminists compared to the filth in BTB loving wives.

And this site loves it. They're screening comments and still let all this through. This is who they want on this site. They sit their on their make believe moral horse about "oh, under age and rape stories. aren't allowed here(yeah...sure) but they let this crap fly on through every day because a click is a click even its from a hoof and not a finger.

One of the arguments people use to support the no under age is attention from LE....so you don't think at this point incels have become enough of an issue that these types of comments and readership won't bring them here?

If it hasn't already been done I believe its in the works to officially brand incels as a hate group.

My oh, my won't lit be proud of their LW BTB stories when that happens and their site at that point will be full of hate speech and....they won't think they need to do anything about it.

But...don't let a spam link or political comment they don't like get posted, or say I was fifteen and saw someone having sex in a story, just rant and rave-and write in great detail-about women being raped tortured for titillation and beaten, and that's just awesome.

-- Yeah pretty much. My loving wife stories bring out the trolls. That is, however, a well=known "bug" of posting here. If you are going to continue to write in LW, I suggest a pair of metaphorical asbestos underwear. I tend to write strong women which also pisses the incels off. Keep in mind these folks actually think it should be government policy to provide supermodel virgins to them! When looked at in that light it becomes much easier to ignore them. Also, if you've ticked them off, your story is probably pretty good.

I'm not going to quote that whole thing.

Where did you get the license to judge other people's kinks? For the most part, AH is a place where people can come and talk about a lot of things. That includes being able to talk about what gets them off, even if YOU don't like it.

I've read two BTB stories in nearly six years here. It isn't my thing. One was brutal. One was clever. Like several other people who've commented on this thread, I've never had to deal with incels commenting on my stories. What have you done to attract them?"

.

Who's "you"? To whom are you speaking?

I'm very critical of the nutty and misogynistic comments that get posted in response to Loving Wives stories. I've said that numerous times. I've also expressed curiosity many times about what people find appealing about stories where cheating women get punished. I'm struck by how many people seem to enjoy reading stories about the punishment of women who stray beyond traditional marriage bonds.

But I don't go as far as you do. I can't say that people who read or write these stories are "bad."

Blackrandl1958 organized a story event about 2 years ago featuring stories of this type -- where women had sex outside of marriage, and in most of them they were punished in some way. I read some of the stories, and while I don't understand their appeal, some of them were well written, and obviously not written by incels. Blackrandle1958 has written a number of stories of this type, and obviously she is not an incel. She's one of the more literate and kind contributors to this Site.

You yourself have often seemed to admit that what drives our erotic interests sometimes comes from dark places we don't understand. Exploring those interests doesn't make us bad. Question, but don't judge.

I had to look up what 'incel' meant. Must be getting old. Mmm,' scrub that, I am old. :)

The ones writing those comments and stories are the intolerant, judgmental ones.
