Hi,
I am looking for a story which (I am pretty sure) I read on Literotica some time ago.
The story is about an (somewhat) old male musician (?) owning a beach bar, sometimes playing for the audience, and in general not complaining about his life (and the girls the musicians can take home for the nights).
In walks a very beautiful woman "which does not seem to belong in this kind of place", and (apparently) meets a private investigator confirming to the distraught lady that her husband is cheating on her.
At one time they sing on stage together, and sparks fly, so to say.
But due to some reason (pre-nup?!), she cannot act on those sparks, and asks him to wait for her(???).
Sometime later, the lady is back, and I think, also her daughter/kid (no romantic entanglement there), and after some more dancing and singing around (some of that literally :) ), the owner/singer and the lady get together.
I think the whole thing is also linked to one or more songs, like lyrics being quoted, but I may be confusing things...
Does anyone have an idea what this story is called, and by whom it is, please?
Thanks in advance for any hints, cheers, and have a good day!

Still hoping

Hey everyone, I am still hoping to find this story... Does anyone else at least remember if it used to be here on Lit?
It should be/have been, but I won't exclude the quite unlikely possibility that somehow I managed to read it somewhere else...

It’s on Lit

And I reread it not that long ago…….but I can’t remember tilte or author. Your synopsis is pretty accuarate too.

Pretty certain you are talking about this - https://www.literotica.com/s/being-in-the-right-place-and-time

Thank you so much!

@Dragan, Thanks a lot, that is the story! I was searching for this a lot of time (not for "sleepless nights", but close enough), so I finally bookmarked it and will read it again soon once I have the time!

@BBeinhart, thanks for your help as well ;-)

Great!

Thanks Dragan!

What tripped me up in the search was that the word ‘beach’ is not used in the story. Coast, yes, water front, yes, sand, yes, but beach, no. Tricky.
