But to answer someone's question about gladiator sandals, yes, there are a pain to lace up to get on and un-lace to get off, neither is a particularly spontaneous task and no, they generally are NOT that comfortable to wear. At least not imho.

He probably had good reason. Nothing like seeing a gorgeous woman in lingerie, stockings and high heels. Lucky guy.
