You do but, honestly, I'm a terrible judge of who's what (or part-what). Some people assume I'd be better at it, given my background.

I didn't comprehend my father as "black" until I was about 11. That used to sound very odd to people. Thankfully, Lenny Kravitz now tells that same story over and over again, so I can just reference him. Thanks, Lenny!

I can't imagine singling out one race when it comes to women. All of them have physical traits I like, and the cultural ones oftentimes transcend race.

I could probably give you a better answer when I'm 50.

For people I know who place an importance on race: the black ones call me black, and the white ones call me black. That's been true since I was little and, for me, it carries a pretty strong message as to what race means as a social construct. Especially considering my skin tone!
