Big Breasts and Large Cocks?

There is a thread initiated by JaF0 about visualizing your characters and reading it made me wonder, are large breasts on women the equivalent of big cocks on men in Lit stories?

I haven't read enough on this site to know if there is a propensity for female characters to be large breasted but I have read several comments about the nature of many (most?) men to be packing big meat.

My female characters tend towards the athletic build--which I personally favor--and thusly have moderate to small breasts and my male characters tend to be well built with cocks above the average size but not huge, so I guess I am in agreement with the "large cock" rule of thumb.

Is the decision to provision our characters with titanic tits and stupendous schlongs a personal preference or is something else at play?

I don't think big breasts are the equivalent of big cocks. Not for me, anyway. I know some men get very turned on by big breasts, and for them they may be the equivalent of a big cock, but I think it's much less universal than the appeal of the big cock.

The "type" I gravitate to in stories is the athletic MILF-type. She may or may not have big breasts. I personally like breasts in every size. I DO think it's a good idea to emphasize the breasts of a female character whether they are small or large -- every size has its own erotic appeal that can be played up.

I enjoy the diversity represented in literotica stories, reflecting the interests, desires, and fantasies of many authors with their own kinks, fetishes, and fascinations.

Big breasts are prevalent, but by no means exclusive: there are definitely stories delighting in many different female forms, from the very slender to the fully voluptuous.

With regard to men, however, cock size seems to be either ginormous, or irrelevant. I don't see small or average sized cocks particularly fetishized, although it's probably here somewhere.

It’s hard, but not impossible, to find words that (tastefully) describe breasts and cocks, so I try to leave that up to the reader. If a female character is slender, I imagine they picture her as having smaller breasts. In the case of a MILF, that usually conjures images of larger breasts.

As for cocks, I don’t really know what my readers picture but I’ve never been too explicit about it. I usually think they’re quite large with all the gagging and grunting that goes on during sex scenes.

Big breasts are mostly a visual and tactile thing. Except for tit-fucking, they don't have much to do with the actual act of fucking. In my stories, I usually increase not the size of the breasts but their sensitivity to sexual stimulation, sometimes to unrealistic proportions.

Cock size, on the other hand, is directly related to a partner's sensations during the act. Giving your character a cock on the large size would make a difference to that partner. In our fantasy world, large cocks are matched with women with deep vaginas or guys with deep rectums, and all is good. In the real world, a large cock can be a problem for some partners.

Size is a popular fetish. Any porn site will have a significant share of ridiculously endowed models or cartoons or characters. I don't think it's any deeper than that it turns a lot of people on.

I think basing any idea of how people behave or what we really look for in partners with what we find represented on sites devoted to sexual fantasy is gonna produce a distorted picture.

I try to avoid any measurements at all in the story, and not just because I'm a little lousy at the whole "Metric" conversion issue!

Instead I do comparisons between characters and general body types. As a writer, I know the exact size and shape of every character's 'endowments'. I also know what they THINK of their own bodies. And how that internal conflict drives them.

I much prefer, after giving a general size range, describing the shape, fullness and uniqueness of each breast that becomes unveiled, even to just a harshly appraising mirror. How large are the areola, how firm are the nipples, and are they getting harder or softer? Do they look better in a bra, or out of one? Do they sag? Are they still getting larger? Does cold weather or arousal make the little nubs swell the most?

Self esteem plays a huge role in my characters. Some women know they look good, and flaunt that. Others go to great lengths to hide their beauty. Some women are down on their looks, but are actually quite alluring in their every day selves.

So in my mind, when doing my own internal descriptions for my character list, I rank breasts not by cup, but by relative size to one another. Or by how good they look just coming out of a shower. Or by how fascinated their lovers get, when finally getting 'their hands on them'.

Most of the women are of an average size, but two women are basically tied for the best (not largest) breasts in the novels. One woman is a strip club dancer, and has made her career on her smile and personality with most of her customers, while the more vulgar just like to get a closer look at her two companions on stage. The other woman is a police officer, who used to be on the vice squad. Her breasts are perfect in every way, but are only for her secret lover of twenty years, and the people they both decide to share their get-away beds with. In all other aspects, she hides their size and enticements from her friends, coworkers and the general public.

Personally, I like smaller more 'artistically' pleasing and interesting breasts, but it is more important that the woman possessing them is pleased with them herself.

Even the most flat chested character is an artist, who loves nudity, and showing off her thick overly sensitive nipples.

As far as the men in the books go?

Two, perhaps three men are tied with the largest 'members' between their legs. All very different, and they use them differently, too.

Most men are average size, but here too I describe the details more than the specifications. How quickly do they get hard, and when do they do that? Is their new girlfriend getting undressed more than enough? Do their wives take a little time, coaxing them to get ready? Do they stay hard afterward? Is it hours before they are ready to go again? Or just minutes?

One man I have at just a frustrating half inch below average size, and he makes up for his perceived lack with violence and strength. Thrusting in so hard it deliberately hurts the woman he is having an affair with. Using his otherwise athletic body to dominate her, both in a physical sense and an emotional one.

One other man is a bit of a louse, and feels that it is the only average size of a penis that keeps him from getting second sexual encounters with the dozens of women his handsome looks keep on the line. But it is actually his selfishness in bed, and lack of concern for THIER pleasure, that makes them quickly and permanently cross him off of their lists.

One man is slightly larger and thicker than normal, but he is very careful about how hard he gets right before he comes. He has learned to hold back, just a little, on his excitement. He always makes sure the woman comes first, usually with his tongue but sometimes his fingers, before he enters inside of them. As they get closer to a second orgasm, he begins to finally let go, having just learned if their mood is for slow full thrusts, teasing jabs, or rough poundings. Only when she is actually coming again, does he feel free to let loose of all of his self restraint, and get fully hard. His suddenly unbending shaft can then add something to the height of their pleasure, as he finally lets go.

As far as terminology goes, I try to do what happens in real life. Certain people use certain words in polite company, and never change their verbiage in bed. Others will refuse to even get into polite conversations about sex, but are absolute whores in bed, at least by what they moan and gasp back at their lovers.

So I try to keep in mind what the CHARACTERS would say in certain situations, and keep that consistent, rather than trending to follow what I as a writer like to use in descriptions.

Guys I will use the word sizable, or have the woman describe it for me in a comment, "Trust me, you have nothing to be ashamed of" or something like that to indicate he's fairly well endowed.

From there I leave it to the readers imagination, and if they don't have one, they shouldn't be reading fiction in the first place

Anyway, I only focus on a size aspect if it’s a sadism story, weirdly enough. So, when I do add it, it’s not really a good thing.

Or if it plays a part in the story somehow. I had one character who was really shy with a lactation fetish and so breast size played an obvious factor there. Otherwise, unless the word usage just fits the prose at that moment, I’ll generally leave it to the reader because, unless told otherwise, I feel like they’re going to imagine what everyone wants to see in porn.
